Well as I have long awaited my vacation for a 1.5 I have finaly gottent one.
from what I already have avalible to me basing my current knowlage I will be starting with a port of GL quake then followed up with either the DarkPlace Engine (Q1GL + multiple quake filetype support) or QFusion (quake 2 pretending to be quake 3) This all depends on which is more efficient.
My concern is mainly how the open GL rendering takes place. If any one has any documentation on that I would greatly apreciate that.
As soon as there is a working produkt :P, if it runs and generates the 3d enviroment using Open GL, I will send out beta versions.
if gl quake works properly we may see some tests of water shaders on the psp
I entirely forgot all of the Real Time lighting effects that can be used in Dark Place engine so thats going to be nuked qfusion may work though... (which means converting model types from mdl to skm OH MY!)
Im not entirely sure how the PSP frame work runs so for now im just wingin' it
Wile I await the PSPGL to add on texture support i will work on upgrading Quake PSP mainly in terms of game-play and attempt to make a mod of it
Several controle maps will be avalible (and editable i hope...) Usless menus will be removed aswell... (im going to work with mr freeman on this one)
