Default [RELEASE] The Super Special Awesome Helicopter Game Clone Version 2

The Super Special Awesome Helicopter Game Clone Version 2

A new version of my Helicopter Game clone, made over the past few days when I was bored and didn't want to work on my main game (I need to rewrite the entire object code *groan*)

You can see the game scroll through behind the menu

New Features:
* Menu-ish thing.
* Multiple selectable crafts. (Helicopter, Planet Express Ship, F-22 and Superman)
* Multiple selectable difficulties. (Easy, Hard an Original (Where I tried to make it as close to the original game as possible, but it turned out to have an entirely different feel to it, so I couldn't put it with the others.)
* In-game MP3 Playback (Put MP3's in The game's directory, and cycle through them with L and R) (Sample Included ;-) ). (The downside to this is that to make the music play distortion-free I needed to clock the processor up to 333mhz.)
* The game will now save you best score to a file, so it will still be there after exiting the game.

Bug fixes:
* The gap in which to fly no longer gets smaller and smaller to a point where your craft does not even fit.

Tweaks:
* Wall generation code now much smother.
* Doubled the frequency of obstacles.

Credits:
Merick ( I think) for Gu Blitting code (For rotation of ship)
Button icons from dot_blank (I didn't ask permission, but I don't think he'll mind) (HERE)

So, Enjoy!

I just tried running it trough 3.52 kernel (GAME352 folder on my Phat) and that doesn't work. So it won't run on the Slim either

I HATE YOU!! lol j/k I cant stop playing. I had a game like this on my mobile phone called paper airplane, but this one totally beats it! I can see that it seems like u can edit additional ships but it would be cool if you could add ur own. So far, excellent game.

Good Luck with whatever else you will add to it! looking forward to future updates!

I like the idea of the Music. But could u have it where it plays all the music From teh Music Directory on the PSP, including sub folders, so basically all of the music can play without copying it all. I realize u might not want to listen to all your music, but maybe you could make a configuration file to put directories on where to listen to music, like an .ini file such as:

ms0:/music/artist1
ms0:/music/artist4
ms0:/music/artist3

and u can put as many directories as you like for where to look for the music, and it would start with the first one.

If this is too much, u don't have to do it, just a suggestion tho if u need one.!

i have to say it again tho, Great Game!!!

lol, when u gave the idea of putting music in, i just thought to enhance it. I guess two heads are better than one! lol
Will be nice if this feature is integrated into the game!
Again, Great Homebrew!

EDIT: I just noticed that the Music is a little choppy. I ran it in IRShell on 222 Mhz with the Music in background using IRShell and the IRShell Music was not choppy when playing the game. I tried the MP3 playing using ur games bulit in even at 333 mhz and it was still choppy. Be really nice if u could fix this, if possible

btw, what is ur main game that u are working on?
