yes I hope theirs a way to try to port windows xp on slim and see if it can run or windows 98 for the slim.

They've already made Windows 98 for the phat... It should work with the Slim...

Has anyone got any roms to run yet? I've tried running 6 different roms now but whenever I start it, it gives me and error and tells me to press [] to exit. I've put the .dat file in all my roms and everything .

You need to put the dat file in ctrlmame and convert your rom with it !

hi not sure if anyone can help me, but will ask any way.. i love the old clasics and one of them is "twin cobra" i managed to get this working on pc many years but when trying it on the psp its fails to load rom ? can anyone help ?

i updated my phat CFW to 3.71 m33 this morning and this version works where the previous version didnt.

Tried track n field which seems quite fast.

Cant stretch the screen though

Its not saving for me either and I've no idea how to edit them manually its all numbers!

All of the games I've placed into mame seem to be running very fast,
so fast in fact that it's too fast to play.

Is their a way to slow this down to a more normal speed Cpasjuste?

just a few points.

dont put your 0.34 samples in the samples folder, the games like space invaders all start playing with sound, then crash a few seconds into the game, either de-activate the sound option or delete all your samples.
this is with phat version and this version.

the phat version (1.5) actally runs older games much better than the lite version, games like space invaders, galaxians, mooncresta, pacman, pheonix all run incredibly fast on the lite version and are unplayable. With the emulators settings in 1.5 version you can actually get the above games running at a decent rate and are totally playable.

I have done a phat emulator package on demonoid, that contains all games that run well, it also has a list of games included. Only problem is.......Demonoid is down, has been for 2 days.

First off good work on the port. However, I seem to be running into a problem. Following your lead that it works like the original I grabbed the gp2x version's clrmame_roms.dat file and proceeded to convert Magical Drop III with it (magdrop3.zip). However when placed in the roms folder and copied over to my PSP the emulator fails to launch, claiming that no roms were found.

Am I doing something wrong here or is support for files outside the samples.dat missing? Tried on a 3.71 M33 Slim PSP.

So trying this with the Slim & Lite yields unplayable results?
Games play way to fast and thats expected from the Slim
since theirs no 1.5 kernel?

So really in theory it does work for the Slim, just not the way
we'd hoped it would work.

Well, when ever this gets to a point that it's playable at normal
speeds I'll be interested but until then, it's not for me.

Thanks for the hard work on this app, please continue so that
some day it works normally for the Slim & Lite.

Well, it works for the slim sure enough.. I'm just having trouble making it find the roms hehe. After conversion (which I assume I did properly) it still fails to locate them (converted and placed into the /roms folder).

So I get a nice intro screen, and then a black and white death with the Roms Not Found error on screen hehe. So far no luck getting past that screen and having it recognize my roms, after having converted several roms using both the clrmame_games.dat and clrmame_samples.dat files.

I hope this information can be of some use to you -- I'm quite looking forward to having MAME on my slim
