Default Very Big Psp Slim Problem :'(

hey guys. I wanted to downgrade the psp slim from a friend of mine but since i have updated my FW to 3.71 M33 today i wasnt successfull since it doesnt have the 1.5 kernel anymore.

How ever i have just tested if the slim worx with the old battery and put the phat battery in to the slim. The battery wasnt hacked or anything yet. Well it worked and then i put the original slim battery and it doesnt start anymore. I have then put the old one and it worked again. What could be the problem? Why does the slim psp start with it sown battery but with the old battery?
