[Release] Reboot/shutdown prx for 3.71 M33

Coolj has released a prx for 3.71 M33 that can be flashed to flash0, however he cannot release it here as he is banned, so has asked me to do it for him. Here is the release at his website, http://www.coolj-ketchup.es.kz/:

Hi,

I made a new prx to reboot or shutdown from the update icon for 3.71 m33.

Usage:

Hold Rtrigger and press X on the update icon to shut down the psp.

Press X to reboot the psp.

Instalation:

Copy my update_plugin.prx and paste it in vsh/module in flash0(replacing the original).

Yes, the button configuration is different to the old one, to get into recovery press X then hold R.

I'm really sick and tired of everyone giving Test30 a hard time, seriously can't we all learn to get along? Everyone that is giving him a hard time is going against our PSPositive Posting Operation, just drop it and I won't have to ban anyone anymore for the same situation.

PS: If someone wants CoolJ to get dev status, all they had to do was PM me..seriously, if you find someone who you think deserves it, feel free to PM me and I'll arrange it - that's what I've been saying for ages now

They were banned for flaming..that's against the rules, if their opinion involves flaming someone else, then it doesn't belong on these forums unless they wish to suffer the punishment

hey does anyone know whats wrong with my psp? I can see some flash0 folders but not all, and everytime i try to use vulpix's unlocker it says that my folders were already unhidden.

Do the followings:
1. Go to "My Computer" or "My Documents"
2. Click "Folder Options..."
3. Click the "View" tab
4. Under Advanced settings, look for "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" and uncheck it.

Now you should be able to see everything in your flash0 folder

Wow, just wow.. you seem to have a vendetta against me now. I was scorned by users like you for not awarding dev status to some lua "developers", and now I'm being flamed upon for making a "mistake"? Something of which I already confessed in another thread my reason for making him a "developer". It's hard to judge a person for wether or not they deserve dev status without confirmation of what they actually did, no proof exists that a person coded this particular program, but do I give them dev status anyways?

I stated that I did not look into the programs that Test30 had "developed" and that I am very reluctant to take back such status since I had already given it to him.

I've denied hundreds of people of developer's status because they created the program through tutorials, copy and pasted from tutorials - this is nothing new to me, I just misjudged and now am getting heavily flamed as a result. Coolj received a small ban for his post and I already explained the reasoning behind it, check my previous posts to fully understand why such a post is a justifiable ban.

I shouldn't have to argue for my own decisions, but I am - so please bear in mind if you make a response that I didn't have to do this as I've done it soo many times already regarding this specific case. I do not take well to such posts of yours trying to embarrass me

Not with someone who begs every developer in the scene for code, then lies and says he never had to ask anyone for it when he uses it.

Not with someone who copy/pastes code from the PSPSDK into his 'custom firmware', which is really just the copy/paste plus Dark_AleX's 1.50 PoC plus text edits of the firmware name, even though he then goes on to lie and say he wrote it himself.

Not with someone who uses leaked source code when it's been requested that nobody use it, then thumbs his nose at the people it was stolen from and says he has a right to use it.

Alright now, would've loved to have this told to me earlier on, I respect your word and will now take it into account when making my decision as to what I shall do. I haven't had the time to do a background check on the guy, but guess I don't have to anymore, I knew everyone thought he copied+pasted, but I thought those were just thoughts - you're not one to acuse such without proof, so I respect your post and thank you for it mr. play

Reluctant would be acceptable if he WAS a dev who turned into a **** or somthing. Hes on the same level as them fags at ps3news or watever it is, and would you give daneil dev status for removing credits on the hombrew of other devs?

Before reading this post, right after reading freeplays I have revoked the dev status and Coolj is not a developer "god" that everyone seems to portray him as, I hardly give out dev status to someone for just one release, usually 2 or 3 is the point where I issue it.

Dev status was a way to give back to the developer, give him free premium membership on the forums - they gave us good games/apps, we offer them their deserved status - it's been an issue ever since it as been first instated, there will always be bumps in the road, this one however I was blinded when handling it, I can honsetly say that

Well almost cleared up. Still dont see why you dont ban the git for the reasons Freeplay stated. I can comfirm they are all vaild reasons, and then some. Yes there are more reasons, freeplay forgot a few, One of witch was attempted blackmail of Dark_Alex. Yes, thats how much of a desperate 6 year old **** this guy is.

Our bans need to be backed up with some proof in those cases, and the deed has already come and passed - the damage has been done. We would only ban such a user if he continues such acts on these forums. We've ran into similar cases as such but hardly ever had to result to banning the user, a warning was good enough and I'm sure that he's got the message by now
