Don't remeber the details of that guide by now, but to d/g to a 1.50 with a classic/old Pandora, after formatting the MS, simply hit "X" in the installer and install the MSIPL after that.
Run the MagicStick and hit "X" again when Pandora comes up :)

I have a slim psp with cfw 3.90m33-2. All i want to do is to downgrade mine to 3.71m33... I read few threads in here and the readme instruction. is this will only downgrade my psp to 1.50 and not to 3.71m33? Im kinda noob because this will be my 1st time to make pandora... can anyone tell me the instruction on how do i downgrqade my psp to 3.71m33-2,-3,-4? thanks
you just need to do the pandora battery and then create the magic MS with the "despertar del cementerio v3". It will install the 3.71m33-2 on your PSP.Zitat:

The package contains Hellcat's Pandora installer and the MS creator is from someone on PSP-Hacks. Sorry if I don't remember the name...
Just unzip and run the AutoRun.exe.

I recently bought a new PSP Piano Black Slim running firmware 2.72. I obviously wanted to install custom firmware and I've been researching and came across this method.
I own an ALREADY custom firmware 3.90 M33-2 FAT PSP. It has a 4GB MemoryStick Pro and a valid PSP battery (I did the research on what batteries work).
So, I downloaded and followed the instructions to a PERFECT T. Everything seemed to go perfectly fine. I went through all the steps... adding the files, formatting the stick, re-adding the files, backing up the serial and turning the battery into a pandora battery.
Once I completed all the steps, I restarted the PSP with the customize memory stick and the battery that I supposably just converted... I don't see any of the lights like it says I am supposed to... Instead it boots right up to my XMB like nothings wrong...
This happens on both my custom firmware fat PSP with 2.90 M33-2 and my non-custom firmware PSP with 2.71.
its probably a non pandorizable battery. get another battery, or hardmod it.
Ok i have been trying to make a Pandora battery for 2 days straight now and was wondering if anyone could help me.
the main problems i am having are that i cannot access my MagicGate 4GB (most likley fake) through my USB because it keeps asking to format, then when i do format i can access it. Second, I have reinstalled the Pandora Installer here a number of times (Pandora Installer for 3.XX -R3b i have currently). However, my CF was 3.52 M33-4 when i tried and i got the error "the Game could not be started (80010016). So then i retryed through recovery but when i try with 1.50 kernel it says the same message. SO then i updated to 3.90 M33-3 I think it was and i get the same errors. I have a umd in my slot, i have CF.
I guess its noteworthy to say this morning i tried using a 'quick' pandora maker on my battery and now when i put it in only a black screen loads and it turns on automatically so i assume that failed. So now my PSP PHAT only works with the Charger in. And i guess i should say im doing this all to get CF on my 3.80 PSP SLIM. Oh and 2 days ago i pryed the cover to my psp open because i figured 'hey i will never need this again i might as well get it open so i can clean it' (i was looking for right size screwdriver for a while). And in it i cleaned it however i pryed off the Analog Sensor i assume thats on the bottom Left on the PHAT (Small silver rectangle i think?). Oh and my battery most likely has some type of water damage due to me trying to clean my psp with water and it seeping through. (Phew)
Im pretty sure i summed it all up, but hey maybe i didnt explain clearly.

I have 3.95 OFW and want it to downgrade to 3.90 CFW.. And I have a 2nd PSP with 3.90 M33-3, is the pandora 3.xx work in my PSP with CFW???? thanks....
There is no need to ever make an EEPROM backup, because usually restoring the EEPROM will screw up the battery. You should only change the serial to 0xFFFFFFFF for pandora and back to a number for normal.
I seem to be having problems converting a phat psp battery using my slim psp. I can convert the battery to pandora using my phat psp with the original pandora battery creator that runs on the 1.5 kernal but not sure why using the 3.xx kernal one doesnt convert the battery any ideas.
can i use my battery again as a normal one??? is there any side effects?
ive always been able to convert the battery back and use it like normal you just need to turn the psp on using the ac adapter first

make your pandora battery to normal... first, turn off your PSP. then, you need to remove your pandora battery and the memory stick.. connect the psp to charger and turn ON your psp.. next, put back the memory stick with "pandora 3.xx" app and the battery.. run the application "pandora" then press [] to make your battery back to normal.. press it 2 times to be sure.. post a reply if you do it successfully! ok!Zitat:

Hi guys - I've just joined.
Apologies if this has been covered in the thread already (its 48 pages to go through!) - I have a friend on 3.90 M33, and im on 3.90 OFW.
Can I have some detailed instructions on how to run this.. When I ran a pandora firmware installer from the CFW psp with my memory card in (right files moved to PSP/GAME, the logo and file starts to run but errors out with the 800 error.
Are their steps I need to do when i boot up his PSP.
to get to his CFW menu I press "select' and i have options on USB mode to mem stick, flash 0, flash 1 etc.
to cut a long story short, what do i need to download and put on the memstick and what do i need to press on the CFW psp so I can create pandora battery, as its failing with the firmware installer.
Hope it all makes sense!

Sorry, but I didn't understand the proccess of turning a Pandora battery back to normal. Do I need any additional files to do that? Where is that batser.bin file?
Also, besides the 1.50 OFW, do I need to download anything else outside the pack?
