Default Black Screen PRX

I was just wondering if there was a PRX plugin that made the PSP screen black (obviously) for use with RemoteJoy. I'm sick of wasting power on my psp by having the screen on.

?
why don't you just hold the Screen Brightness button? that turns the screen off. :S

or you mean while you press buttons so it won't turn on?

but a black screen would still use battery power. right? it would have to be a plugin that made the back light shut off or something

Hold teh brightness button, music button, and turn the wlan and hold switches down. There you go, fully locked down. Only thing that could take battery power is the power light. lol.

A plugin which would allow button presses when the screen is off would work the best. This way when you hold the screen button the screen turns off as normal but when you press a button on your keyboard or psp it would not automatically turn the screen back on.

The analog stick does not work with a joystick in remotejoy so in in order to play alot of games you need to hold the PSP and the screen gets kinda of distracting.

I forgot to put I am using windows for remotejoy.

I am using a Logitech ChillStream for PC which is basically a Xbox 360 controller since it uses those drivers. I have tried several times to get it to work with buttons or even the analog stick and it never worked.

it's the same you still need to make the keymap file if some keys/sticks aren't detected correctly. it works at least with ps2 controllers

You are probably using LibUSB-Win32 drivers which remotejoy uses even under linux. I have done alot of searching on how I could make LibUSB-Win32 drivers for a xbox 360 controller but all searching with those two terms are flooded by the PS3 controller which uses those drivers and works with remotejoy in windows.

hum libusb is used by usbhostfs to connect to the psp. i don't know about x360 controllers, neither about ps3 controllers. but ps2 controllers use directly the basic controller driver provided in windows

The xbox 360 drivers are Microsoft Common Controller Drivers. They were designed to standardize the controllers for PC games. In order to get it to work on remote joy I have been using Xpadder but I cannot use the analog stick. If I was able to map the analog stick to 8 keys I could use Xpadder to control the analog stick. I am still searching around to find a solution. I have been trying to find alternate drivers for the controller.
