Fullscreen TV out for Homebrew (DAX)

DAX has released a sample for full screen TV out with homebrew! :)

This is a sample to start the psp slim tv out from homebrew, using whatever cable (d-terminal has not been tested, but i think it has same code as component), and use it in full screen.

You start the sample normally, and then the sample connects to the tv out.

To use it in your code, you just have to replace the call to sceDisplaySetMode with the call to my custom function pspDveMgrSetVideoOut (which calls sceImposeSetVideoOutMode, which at the end calls sceDisplaySetMode), and be aware of the bigger resolution.

The good thing about the tv out, is that the resolution is really bigger (720x503 in composite, 720x480 in component), so it would be cool that video applications are ported to use it ;)

wow nice you can get like an emulator and play game fullscreen and its like you have a nes or arcade machine in the palm of your hands and can connect it to any tv
i just hope he finds a way to make umd games fullscreen, well maybe not it would be blurry and crappy,

SO can anybody make a video of this of playing snes...

No more than a Hello World program can make your NES emu say "Hello World".
It's a sample that allows programmers to use full screen TV,
it doesn't run existing programs that way.

Indeed. People don't realize you can hook up your pc to a tv and have it fullscreen and play all emulators that way with multiplayer support too...

Thats what I do. And using a sixaxis to control them all as well is far more comfortable than holding a PSP.

Plus full speed N64 = win
