Lightbulb possible pandora with one battery.....im gonna need help though.

i was thinking about the pandoras battery.and i dont have a second battery.but i noticed that everything that was downgradable had homebrew capable firmware. and certain info was stored in the battery.and this info and some others allow the downgrade.so we back up the current battery data. and then we download the new files to the battery.and then downgrade it. after that you go back into the psp and take the pandora stuff off the battery.and my conclusion would be a downgraded psp. and a usable battery.

LOL EASY!.

K make the pandora battery do with it as you please.

Then shut off the psp and remove the battery.

Plug the psp into the charger.

Turn on the psp.

Put in the battery.

Run psp as normal and fix your battery with the pandora battery maker (has an option for fixing EEPROM)

rebel - As a_noob stated (a little brief though mate ). You can power your PSP straight from the charger. Simply take out your battery after making it pandora, plug in your charge and flip the power, should turn on (don't expect an orange light to come on when you don't have a battery in and plug in the charger). I personally haven't used the pandora battery thing yet so I don't know what steps to take or w/e, just that you can turn a battery into a 'pandora' battery, an emergency boot disk if you will.

P.S. Think i should update to the latest firmware and make a pandora battery and whatnot? im still on 3.40 oe (left the scene for a bit, haven't found a need to update, but i really do want to update for security and better functionality - where should i start? line please?)

You just got a PSP today did ya?
You realise you can do bugger all with Windows once you've waited half hour for it to load?

and there are unofficial updates beyond 1.50 that actually add homebrew functionality to the PSP.

If everyone went back to 1.50, well that would be one thing.
All homebrew would work on every PSP again, except for the slims.

Yeah, lets put an entire 1.50 subset and downgrader into a 512 byte EEPROM.

The files are never written to the battery, the only thing that changes in the battery is the serial code. And the backup of the EEPROM is more a security measure in case it screws up the battery (IE. the charging difficulties, shutting down prematurely, etc.) and to restore after you are done with Pandora. The actually Pandora files are made by a homebrew app and are kept on the memory stick.

And this method of backing up an EEPROM to restore a battery after using it for Pandora to revert the battery to normal has been known since Pandora first came out.
