Default <NEW RELEASE!> Homebrew Organizer & Launcher

Choice2 "Homebrew Organizer & Launcher"
Please talk about Choice2 in this tread choice2 "make-another-choice"

This thread is were I will post links for the downloads.

Choice][

XMB Wallpaper used or from Memory Stick
Organize homebrew
Star rate your homebrew
Sort by A-z, Z-a or Star Rating
Homebrew cached, after first launch of Choice][ homebrew list is loaded from cache file

Choice v2.0.1.1
Includes v2.0.1 Patch + Homebrew Cache Sig

Choice v2.0
Patch for Choice v2.0 Corrects a bug in list flowing beyond limit "this brings choice to v2.0.1"

To supply the patch simply replaced the old eboot.pbp with the new eboot.pbp

Choice][ is for 3.71 Kernal.

Under development....

Choice v2.1 will auto update star rating to use the new univesal star rating format, this is to let users deside if they whant a star rating of 10, 5, 4, 3 etc or not star rating but somethink else
And it will get that random auto selection that was asked for

plan on detecting cross being pressed down when choice is launched to auto select a homebrew, to make it quick in selecting a homebrew for you, if not pressed will have a option on choice itself as well.

eLoader support included.
Sneek look at v2.0.5 to v2.1

Hi!

As I said in the other thread:
Very nice, good work.
But I can see only homebrew from PSP/GAME (and most of mine are in PGP/GAME352).

Many thanks for your work.

Choice2 Updated for BETA Testers.

I have e-mailed the update.

Feedback on the type of list sorting been added.
List now cached on ms on launching a homebrew selection
Loads a cache list if present else rescans on launching Choice2

Already glitchy?
I've got the snes logo with the Choice2 BETA text beside it.

A bootstrap would be nice too. Without that, it's really useless.

Yes

It is designed around the sdk for 3.71 so 3.80 should be simple if 3.80 M33 happens

Thank you, nice job.

BTW,

if you run:

Code:
zip -d My_Zip_file.zip __MACOSX* *.DS_Store
It would save 384 KB 12 files and 3 folders that are not not needed

just in case it would make it easier on yourself, since you have implemented the organizer to dub a folder as a category if no eboot is found, couldn't you just as easily make it identify the necessary kernel by searching for 'GAME' in the title of the folder, and then retrieve the rest of the name?

I'm pretty sure it all depends on what kernel is running behind it. eg) Your custom firmware is set to 3.71 kernel - it's going to load games in 3.71 kernel mode. Or likewise for 1.5 kernel.

"franklee628"
No, I work at Newcastle and my site is hosted on the same server.

Justinks, still adding products to the justinks site and prices have changed for most of them so they need updating and just getting my site up to date, a few things to add as well for my site

And working on a Choice means I am doing a lot at the same time and so will take a few months to get on top of it all, Choice more less finished and be just improving it and so be looking at my site and then updating the prices on justinks when I am given the new price list to go by.

And top it all off I am looking into Melody2 as a standalone or part of Choice for v2.5
Can one person do all this, yes.. only none stop work and no play

So to all don't count on Melody2 to be any time soon I am realy realy busy.

Maybe I'm still doing it wrong but It still crashes with me, Using 3.71-4.
A read me would be nice for people who don't know where to put everything.
I put the module, ect, and resource folders on my flash0 (flash0:\vsh\) and the eboot in a folder called choice2 in the game371 folder (X:\psp\game371)
