[Release]Pandora Battery creator plugin for 3.80,emulating syscon*Update*

Well,in 380,Sce dont let us make a pandora battery(doing it the normal way),so here is an update of the plugin released long time ago on elotrolado.net,it emulates the syscon code.I know there is no 380 custom firmware yet,but when it comes out you can make a pandora battery on it with this plugin.

The button combos for the plugin:

-Start + Select = the plugin will stop working,if you reboot etc it will work again.

-LTrigger + Select = dump the eeprom with the name "eeprom.bin".
The Power led will blink 1 time.

-RTrigger + Select = Flash the eeprom.bin.The Power led will blink 5 times.If an error ocurrs the plugin will create a text file in the root of the ms,telling what happened.

LTrigger + Start = convert battery to normal.The power led will blink 2 times.If an error ocurrs the plugin will create a text file in the root of the ms,telling what happened.

RTrigger + Start = convert battery to normal + autorun.The power led will blink 3 times.If an error ocurrs the plugin will create a text file in the root of the ms,telling what happened.

LTrigger + RTrigger = convert battery to pandora.The power led will blink 4 times.If an error ocurrs the plugin will create a text file in the root of the ms,telling what happened.

Yet another ripoff, this is stolen from silverspring's main page where he posted about 2 days ago a code to set a battery to service mode using direct hardware addresses because 2.80 would not allow the use of the old syscon nids to do so.

My question is then following, what will HelldashX copy next ? and Where will he stop ?

No,not a ripoff,you are really getting on my nervs.Look at the thread i posted in the first post,its the first release of the plugin and it was on 05-09-2007.

Not the 3.80 version, it wasn't. That was for 1.50 and 3.51.

yeah I just figured it is VERY likely to use the syscon nids we used in pandora (and certainly not the hardware addresses that were found by silverspring)

The plugin in the elotrolado.net thread and this one,are the same,this one has just some NIDs updated..

Check it,it is NOT silverspring's code.

coolj there were no nid to update, the nids were removed from 3.80 kernel... and for this plugin to come out less than 48hrs after silverspring's code being published makes it VERY suspiscious

hum... actually I looked at the 3.51 module and it uses find driver by name to locate syscon, so no hardware addresses involved here.

According to CoolJ he is, but in my belief it is more likely that he went to silverspring's blog the other day when it was newsed because of the HDD that was scrapped on slim, and then went back later and saw the pretty nice code in the page and thought "What if I just use it in my (pointless)"plugin" I "coded" long ago ? Nobody would notice it because only lame devs go to that nasty blog of his" (btw he does think of himself as a dev but I wont contradict him...) so that's what he did, he copied pasted the code from silverspring's blog to add it to his "plugin" and voila ! A brand new homebrew that will help him getting front paged and satisfying his ego.

Actually CoolJ did mention helldashx's nick in his initial post here, but since my intervention he suddently modified it to add the link to the old thread of helldashx releasing the 3.51 plugin on elotrolado (which does not prove anything except that he did not use any hardware addresses back then) and for some unknown reason removed his nick from the QJ thread.
