Default [RELEASE] LightMP3 version 1.7.0

Hi!

I'm here to release LightMP3 Version 1.7.0.

Here's the changelog:
-Added: Options screen
-Added: muted volume in settings file
-Added: Fadeout when skipping track
-Added: Option to set initial brightness check (on with warning/on without warning/off)
-Added: Volume boost value is saved in the settings file and restored at startup
-Added: MP3 playback via Media Engine (plays fine with CPU @ 20Mhz) (many thanks to joek2100)
-Added: ATRAC3 playback (*.aa3, *.omg, *.oma) via Media Engine (plays fine with CPU @ 20Mhz) (many thanks to joek2100)
-Added: FLAC playback (via libFLAC). Unfortunately plays fine with CPU @ 130Mhz. (many thanks to JLF65)
-Added: Automatic cpu clock based on filetype.
-Fixed: Directories are now listed before files.
-Fixed: Conflict with Music prx (the module is stopped and unloaded at startup).
-Fixed: Suspend error (the app now doesen't make the psp shut down, but music doesen't restart when resuming. You can skip to next track).

Some notes:
-Playing MP3 via Media Engine Volume Boost and FFWD/REW doesen't work
-Playing ATRAC3 Volume Boost doesen't work
-Initial clock frequencies are higher than needed (to avoid problem if you have some active prx that inteferes with the app), try to lower them.
-Adjust your options.

Here some screenshots:

now i have a feature request: can you add a function like lock to listen to the mp3s with the psp in your pocket?
that you can only use analoug to switch track and edit volume? because i keep pressing the trigger buttons if the psp is in my pocket

Could you remove GNU General Public License stuff from id3.h as it has no has no licence stuff it is all written by me as free and no licence so shouldn't have any licence even if you have mae a few tiny mods or not you should not be telling other develepers it is under GNU General Public License

It is for other developers to take what they need from it without any licence issus to deal with all free to take what you like if it helps.

Also share back what they add or correct with no added licence.

Thank you.

Thanks, my fault for not explaining when i shared my id3 code.

I have no issues if you put add your name on as well if you make any fixes/mods

as long as you list all that have added to it and improved on it like your self so no developer feels cheated in any ways.

All contributors are mentioned in the readme (and in the code where they contributed), I hope no one feels cheated.

Also like you to know that Melody2 is not going to be developed, you LightMP3 dose the job great, may not look great but very good at the job of playing music files so not be doing a Melody2

Instead interested in adding a nice look to LightMP3 and share all code for it with you and you your self host it for downloading with LightMP3

What you think would you mind if I had a go at doing a front that looks and works a bit like Choice2 for Light MP3

Ah how odd. It freezes at the end of an MP3 with music.prx enabled. I'm a slim and lit with 3.71 M33-4 right now.

Some MP3s freeze the psp. I think I'll wait until its as polished as 1.6.0 Final first.

Do you know a better app that has random enabled through it? I don't know why iRshell still doesn't want to implement the random play.

no i only know music.prx for xmb and game.
that prx really needs a developer

but lets keep ontopic:
i dont have any problem in lightmp3 now...

It resets the Flash 1? I never knew that.

I knew that later versions of Music.prx no longer write to the Flash 1 which irsmp3.prx does, seems odd that it would.

Thanks for this Sakya, I've been thinking of trying it out again and it sounds like the program has come a long way since I stopped using it last.

Edit:
I am having a minor problem with this and think I need to read through more to know why. What is happening is that I can change the CPU settings but not change the BUS speed and though 95 is likely lower then the level Sony uses I think it could be lowered or raised and it just won't.

Its simply a modified iR shell plugin that was open sourced and then made better.
Are you using a fat or a slim? I'm not sure why the MP3s work fine on 1.6.0 Final and they simply don't work on 1.7.0 very well. I would have thought that extra ram would have done something.

Perhaps this needs a name change since it no longer just about playing MP3s

say lightMusic

since I will no be doing a Melody2 but doing a nice from for lightMP3

you can take my Melody name or lightMelody

lightMusic
melody
lightMelody
