Okay something strange... I'm guessing they changed the format of vshmain.prx and paf.prx... They were decrypted yet I can't use vshmain Editior or PRX Compressor on them...

Code:
'flash0:/vsh/module/paf.prx' expanded,decrypted,expanded,saved!
'flash0:/vsh/module/vshmain.prx' expanded,decrypted,expanded,saved!
Dear Nem, Fanjita, Dark_Alex and all the other great people who helped with Pandora Battery
I love you for when I try to replace everything in flash0:/vsh with 3.80 on 3.71 m33 you'll be there cheering me on saying "What the hell, why not, give it a shot".

Man, this guy just copy/pasted the code from the 3.80 IPL for KL3E/KL4E decryption... What a shame...

It's an illegal post, so should be removed from news/forums xD

Who of us both would be right? I would attach extracted proofs from prx, but the problem is that they are not legal... Just extract the pspdecrypt.prx, and you'll see kl3e.bin and kl4e.bin. (But let me guess... MIPS is a funky word you never heard? )

Are there "legal" ways to do this?

Well, one of the legal ways would be reverse-engineering the algorithm and implementing it differently (of course this just means replacing most of the instructions by equivalents, in the case of a compression algo...), but the best way would be to decrypt IPL on the fly and to extract the needed part of it to decompress the rest of KL4E files, then use decompressed sysmem to get KL3E ones

err... actually you need KL4E from the IPL (or reversed) to deflate the modules needed to use KL3E (such as loadexec)
