Default [RELEASE] HBN MEDIA CENTER v1.01

THE FIRST APP MADE BY TEAM HBN is the HBN Media Center

It will list all files in your ms0:/PSP/MUSIC folder when started up but you may navigate to other folders by selecting the ".." at the top.

Controls:

Start to pause music
Square to go back to the file browser while the music is playing

You may use the Headphone remote to control aspects of music also.

If you wish to restart the app press L+R+Start but make sure your not listening to music.
Currently you must use the Home button to exit.

Some pics will freeze your psp

Credit also goes out to hakk3r of TeamLUA, who certainly contibuted by coding.

Sounds interesting, though somewhat moot until more features are added. Still, sounds very promising.

Hakk3r's doing the coding, EXTREME is providing ideas, and I'm doing GFX.

I'm off to edit the wallpaper.

I find that funny, since basicly apart from the graphics everything was done by him. So he more than contributed I think.

Other than the pretty background, I see nothing amazing about this.

I agree (hey there are less than 200 lines of code in this "Media center"...not even well indented!).

Yeah. Do you always ask that?

BTW, if you guys wanna make it look a bit nicer, at least use a better font then the default "screenrint()" one.

Nevertheless, there is something nice to build on. I hope to see this program in a better form very soon.

It's linkin park, if I load a font it lags so I'm working on improving the code and new features and trying to prevent all that freaking lag. This was a quick release but I'm going to take my time with the next one and include some awesome features.

What have you got in mind hakk3r ? I think an id3 tag reader in LUA would be pretty cool.

@ Hakk3r

I've sent you the updated images on PSP-Vault.

-

We would have done this in C/C++, but neither me or Hakk3r have the knowledge required in C yet. All I know what to do in C is print text, and button input...

To be honest, I expect you to code nothing at all....

Should I care what you think??? Just because someone codes in Lua doesn't make them any less of a developer.

Perhaps a little less. But I don't see anything here other than copied code and a background. So, rather than developer, I proclaim you (with my right to do so in being my 300th post!) as a.. Compiler.

Nevertheless, surprise me and make something that I will not consider trash wasting space in my ms, and that hasn't been done many times before.

However! I am happy to know that your team is not all talk and you have finally announced a title.

Oh my, wonderful insight. I'm going to sound incredibly rude stating this, but this homebrew will actually take away capabilities of your PSP.

(EXTREME_PSP and Hakk3r, I don't actually have anything against you guys, I just like to run with the crowd )
