Default PSP radio by RAF

I know this program is out for a long time now, but with all the talk about Internet Radio on FW 3.80 i just want to refresh this.
This awesome program (credits to RAF) still works under the latest CFW, on the Fat and Slim&Lite PSP models

Btw it's also a great musicplayer.

I´ve also added a playlist creator to the files (credits to Slade).

All related info can be found here

Have Fun

Start up PSP-Radio
Press Start (options menu)
Select WiFi connection
WiFi autostart: Yes
Press Get Latest Shoutcast DB
Save options
Press Start to go back to main menu
Press triangle a few times until you hit the Shoutcast screen
Press X to select Genre then use Up and Down buttons to scroll through the Streams
Press X to start playing the stream (if WiFi is off you will get an error message)
When in the Streams window press Left to go back to the Genre window

To manage Playlists, the way i do it:
Make a playlist in winamp, save it as .pls. Import the file in PSP Radio PLB.exe. Now you can select the stream you wanna use in PSP radio.
Export (save) the selected streams to a .pls file.
Copy that file to the PlayLists folder from PSP Radio. You can select your playlist in the playlist window.

here's a little tutorial by albadross (David Dew), it's a bit outdated cause it handles v37 Final, but maybe it's usefull for someone

Have Fun

The playlist creator has some very big bugs! Sometimes you import a playlist and want to save your complete list the saved file comes up with 0kb, an empty file! So PSP Radio PLB needs an update too.

If someone want to code pspradio better do the following:

My wish in future versions is a sleep-timer! The timer if activated should work as follow: Let us say pressing some key, say home-key, adding 5 minutes to the timer. By pressing again adding again 5 minutes...going on up to 1 hour or more if needed. After that the timer count back to zero, ending pspradio and shutting off the psp! This would be excellent because now we have the same thing like the sleep'n'wake homebrew but with internetradio and not with mp3-files. This would be excellent and pspradio would be better again as the FW3.80 shoutcast player.

What's your opinion?

It's nice that this version actually WORKS on the slim....every previous version would never connect. Although it does work, it is extremely buggy. Crashing very often, loosing wi-fi and not being able to re-connect, freezes... Don't get me wrong, it is a nice app, but not very usable for daily listening.

Is this App still under development? With the release of 3.80 and its built in Internet Radio Player I don't want to see this project die. I have been using the built in player on my 3.80 but I still prefer PSPRadio. I think that is just overall runs better. I hope there will be a version released that is compatible with 3.80.

I had just figured it out yesterday. I forgot to install the 1.50 Kernel so that is why it wasn't working. Now it works great.

Sure, i believe PSP Radio v1.18.1400 (and the one before) is running in user mode on 3.x so it'll always work.
