Read the docs for information!

Wonderful, a lot more snappier, does it save multiple images or just one and over rights existing, I hit the Note key a few times but only one image. Maybe have it saved in the Picture part of MS then you can view, mine saved in roaddog dir. Great Stuff

If I ever get one I will want my programs to work, so I'll then try.
Until then, there are enough problems for me to deal with for firmware differences
that I can't test, let alone a console I don't have.

What firmware are you running Art? You could always update to one of the newer custom firmwares and then consider porting your programs to the newer kernal which should allow Slim users to try these out without using the eLoader.

I have stayed on 3.03 where X-Flash still works.
Considered upgrading when I did a mate's console, but a bug in it
prevents one of the video screen modes working.
.. 480x272 maintaining original aspect ratio... the option is gone,
and I use the XMB video player a lot.

I like the fat a lot better, but will get a slim one day when the price comes down just to play with it.
With a few phat features missing, I consider it a totally different machine, not just a different model.

Here is the main.c source file for the current release.
Not including all resources etc, but enough to see how it works.
It is mainly two b-a-s-t-a-r-d-ised SDK samples, plus my sample/speech routines.

I won't update this in the near future, but I have forwarded the entire project
to a programmer that is interested in porting it to higher firmwares.
Not mentioning any names so he doesn't get nagged about it

The content of this source that is mine is given to the public under the
"not-so-strict" X-Flash (environmental care) license.
If you gain anything from it, please try to care for protected environments and their inhabitants.
Cheers, Art.

i can play videos with 480x272 resolution in 3.71 M33-4 just fine. it just depends on what program u use to convert ur videos..

So can I, but how many aspect ratios can you chose from (called Screen Mode) in the video menu)?
I have Normal, Zoom, and Full Screen.
When I upgraded a friend's PSP, the Zoom mode was missing.
That's the mode that doesn't alter aspect ratio.

i can choose from 5.. 4:3, Original, Normal, Full Screen and Zoom but it depends on what resolution the video is in. if the video is 480x272 resolution then the zoom option will be missing..

Hmm, maybe it's my own fault afterall..
But there's another bug I failed to mention, that I would also miss too much
which is the autoboot program in recovery.

yeah, that feature doesn't work in 3.71 M33. i thought i would miss it too, but to be honest i haven't..3.80 M33 is just around the corner so maybe it will work once again in that firmware..

Any chance for a version of Road Dog that can pick a network, crack its WEP key, and create a connection profile?

And if I could do that, you would never see it,
as such a program has been illegal to even write in my country since March 2004,
and I'm old enough to be prosecuted.
Detecting unencrypted networks does not circumvent any technological protection measure.

The source is available to anyone who wants to.
I had a go at making it user mode, but obviously something in there requires kernel mode.
It might be the WLAN scanner itself, since the SDK WLAN scan sample is kernel mode.

Why dont you just make it 3.xx kernel mode? Why does it HAVE to be user mode?

How do official games scan networks in user mode? Or do official games just call the network dialog, which is handled by the firmware in kernel mode?

If I can make an app run in user mode,
I have found it runs on more PSP units (if not all custom firmware versions).
I don't know how licensed games do it, but the SDK samples aren't kernel mode
unless they have to be.
Quote:

Because I don't know how to, or care to find out.

Like I said, the source is available for anyone to try.
For the amount of interest, I'd have thought someone would take it upon themselves to do it.

I just upgraded to 3.90 M33-2 with v2 of the 1.50 kernel support on PSP fat. This is my first time installing this app and it shows up under memory stick icon but when I try to start it I get the error - 80020148. Its in the X:/PSP/GAME folder and the configuration has Game Folder Homebrew as 3.90 but when I put it in the X:/PSP/GAME390 folder it doesn't even show up under memory stick. How can I get it to work? Thanks

Great job on this app

I use it alot when out and about in the city or in shops

I agree with you on the fact that certain features have been removed from the slim. (IR for example)
