I regret to announce that Todo Espanol Anniversary Edition has to be delayed. It will not be released today, February 26th, as was announced. The release date is now unknown. The reason for this is that I have found a great and very cooperative graphics maker, and I am working on incorporating his graphics into the application. When I announced that it would be released today, I planned on releasing it without a GFX maker and therefore looking very unpolished and, for lack of a better word, bad. In the end, though, the release will benefit from being delayed, for it will look great.

Thanks for everyone's support and understanding. I will release the program as soon as possible. (Trust me, I want to get it out there

Hey everyone- remember my application Todo Espanol? It was first released on February 3, 2007. Then a minor update came on February 26, 2007. For those of you who don't know, it's a lua application designed to help teach you Spanish. Well, it's coming back. On February 26, 2008, I will release an "Anniversary Edition" of Todo Espanol. That's right, it's been almost a year, but I haven't forgotten about the program. Hopefully neither have you. This update promises to make lots of people happy. It will be awesome, let me promise you that.

What would make it more awesome would be if I could implement some of YOUR ideas. So, qj.net, let me know what you would like to see in Todo Espanol, and I'll try to put it in, if it's not in there already

If anyone would like to help with graphics, considering that is one place where I am extremely lacking, I would greatly appreciate it. Just PM me for details.

Also, if anyone has any ways they think I could better the program, just let me know.

Wow that is really cool. I've already had 3 years of spanish, but this is good for Spanish 1 students, that is for sure. This has potential too!

Oh but why does it say "Useless Music App 0.2" or something?

Yeah, and the Anniversary Edition will be useful for higher-level students, too. I'm in Spanish 4 now. And thanks!

Oh, whoops. That was just something else I was doing that I didn't even realize made it in there. Sorry about that. It'll be fixed in the next version.

Wow, Spanish. How I hated that class. I'm glad I never took Spanish 4!

he tomado espanol por 5 anos y me encanta!
my favorite part about spanish is the all the different tenses, i know more about them in spanish than i do in english (first language)
..this app may come in handy one day (currently in spanish 5, 6/native speakers next semester!!)

Same here. Try adding the present subjunctive and past subjunctive. Don't forget all those perfect tenses....and all the other hard verb tenses.

Example:

If i had done my homework, i could have played.
Si hubiera hecho mi tarea, habría podido jugar.

Yea, i am pretty good in Spanish...i actually speak 6 languages.

subjunctive is definately the ****, my second favorite tense second only to pluscuamperfecto!

Maybe you should have some vocabulary that they don't teach in a regular Spanish class, like PSP, video games, computers etc.

I failed the second semester of Spanish 1, and then the next year they place me in Spanish 2, lol. So now (my senior year, which is next year) I have to take a semester of Spanish 1. My school requires 2 years of the same foreign lanugage.
