Cool

Thanks a ton for making this program

It may not be that elobrate as a password module, but it takes a lot of time and effort, and it meets my needs so thanks Plus the only people I'm worried about trying to access my psp don't understand the first thing about recovery mode lol.

Once again awesome job, I hope to see many more releases from you

the best idea for a password module of sorts would be an ipl version that password protects the recovery if the recovery is accessed otherwise it boots up like normal and prompts for a password on exe of the firmware..

Well, I bet it would be kind of dangerous, if you forget your password you get a bricked psp, and even sony wouldn't repair it (seeing the protect-me menu, they might understand there is something fishy ...) so I think that I might flash it (if I understand how...) but I wouldn't make it too sophisticated, that's just to protect your psp from you family or dum friends.

The others=> your welcome, it's a pleasure for me to work on PM thanks for your support, if you have any request or ideas of changelogs for protect-men don't hesitate, send a mail or a PM

Odd_Sam's idea is pretty good, if you do forget the password you can always use pandora

are you sure we could use pandora?
And anyway, that's too much complicated for me... I'm not Fanjita yet...
I think that unless someone tells me how to flash protect-me, I'll keep it on the memory stick.

You can always ask some developers on these forums, make a thread on it.

Is this a plugin? If so, if you happened to forget the password, would you be able to disable the security via recovery menu?

what is a hard rebooot?
is it when you have to hold the power button for about 10 seconds? (a longer time than usual)

if i get only 1 try wrong, it says ERROR WRONG PASSWORD and then freezes.. then i have to turn if off via 10 seconds of holding the power button..

and big problem
if i get the password right, it says WELCOME, then freezes.. and i have to turn it off via the 10 seconds of holding power button..

EDIT:weird.. its fixed.. this problem ^^^^ and sometimes it freezes/sometimes it doesnt.. if i get the pasword right

OH i found out why...
if i have red squirell's alternative vsh menu enabled, it freezes if i get the password right
if red squirell's alternative vsh menu is disabled (the prx plugin) it works normaly...
noooo i need that vsh menu!!
