Note: you probably already noticed but under the music menu, you have RIGHT stated as Random Playback and LEFT as Loop when it's actually the other way around.

The config file is restored each time the psp boot if it's not aleady done.
If you have a clean config.txt file in the TM folder, this one will be backuped before the reboot, and restored as soon as the reboot is done, so i don't know what's your problem. |

Try removing the "slash" after the "music_dir" line in the cfe.config, it should look like this :

this is buggy.
it keeps deleting my config.txt from TM bug bug bug. im on a slim 390m33-2 running TM -= Double Post =- the cfe 2.0 doesnt delete the config.txt but renames it to CONFIG.TXT and changes it's contents. My idea is have a config.bak installed on /TM as well, so if 2.1 delets the config.txt, it should restore it from the backup file called config.bak , simple soultion. For the TM reboot to work correctly, you have to use 390m33-2 + 150_340 kernel and inclued "TM" files from my archive, this configuration work well. If you are not using it with the 150_340 fw, the "cfe" plugins wont be loaded at startup so you original TM configuration file won't be restored (it should still be in your TM folder with the name "config.txt.back")
If you are using it with other TM firmwares (not 150_340) you have to edit the files yourself ... should not be so hard. |

will try, i simply didnt overwrite the TM files but the cfe files only. i'll let you know how this goes. thanks for the quick reply too.
-= Double Post =- alright, it still didn't work. I have the 150_340hw installed on my TM. i can succesfully boot from 1.50 to 3.90m33-2 with no problems. But as soon as I boot to those firmwares , the config.txt , even the config.txt.back is non existent. slim-390m33-2 TM 360m33 / 150_340hw cfe 2.1 i completely removed my previous cfe, did a fresh install too. i guess this is a bug afterall. any ideas? This is a bug afterall
![]() I'm testing my release as far as i can, but alone i can't seek all bugs. It will be fixed tomorow with some others bugs. (For now if you want to test the "normal" function, make a copy of your ms0:/TM/config.txt to ms0:/TM/config.txt.back then all should be ok). |

ok, well i did make a config.txt.back , and it just worked fine. as long as the backup file is there , it works perfectly fine. but i have to do it manually , else cfe will delete it and wont restore it, since there is nothing to store from?
how about just adding a config.txt.back to your archive as well? I was able now to boot back and forth and even use my UPMS stick as well. good job by the way. you by any chance on #psp-hacks @ irc.dashhacks.com? |

The config.txt.back is not a bad idea, but it should not be necessary, i made a big mistake with this, deleting the original config.txt even if the config.txt.back is not here :x
All i have to do is "if config.txt.back is not here => do nothing". This will also save some milli-seconds psp work. |

awesome. thanks. i actually tried adding a reboot button 3 and it didn't work. haha. at least i tried. If by any chance , i invite you to #psp-homebrew at irc.dashhacks.com , and i'll be "tux" there.
-= Double Post =- oh yeah, if you're planning to add a 3rd button on cfe, remember that the 360m33's "home" button is the vsh button. Last edited by oemor; 02-22-2008 at 06:46 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

I'm having problems with the music. At first, it froze, then I did what you said (removing the "/"). Now it loads, and all of it appears as if it is working, but its not playing the music. All of my musics in the music folder, but it won't play. Is there anything add need to add or remove (it's exactly like it is in your post)?
Just to ask, is there a limit to the amount of music? And, can it play music in sub folders? |
