first game coded in C by myself.
i was going to relase this last night but couldent get the upload to work.

the whole reason for me getting a psp was to be able to make my own games, one such game was tetris, i hadent been able to make it till now.
I call this game "TetriAbeties" to promote diabeties awarness, i will probably incorporate some gameplay elements tieing the game to diabeties somehow.

it still needs a bit of polish but it is getting there considering i had no idea how to play sound files this past morning

there are still 2 pieces missing the long bar and the square both need to be coded in.

the file is a little heavy at 6+ mbs but thats because of the kickin' mp3 file included.
the game was developed using a slim. i have not phat so i can not test on that model.

thanks, i coded the "Next Piece Preview" code last night, so now its more like the traditional tetris where you can see the next piece thats comming.

i am working on adding the 2 missing pieces right now, hopefully it will all workout fine.

i also moved the entire grid to the middle of the screen so it looks a little even now.

optimized the code to make it run a little faster, although it was already fast enuff.

probably because its a WIP and not a release.

also, its still just another tetris clone, nothing special so it dont generate enuff interest i guess.

on a side note the code for the rest of the pieces is done, i will relase a video later tonight, and a relase of version 1 will be relased shortly after that

then after that i will see what graphic engine to use to spice it up above your averege tetris game.. my main idea was to code tetris in a realy awsome visual way. like with blocks exploding when cleared and particles flying all over the place .. thats my main goal.
but i have to do some resarch first.

the JGE++ engine looks realy nice, but i dont know if it will be compatable with the code i have already, it might be more trouble then its worth to port over.

i will see what OSLib has to offer, i here its nice.

i like what the coder for polygon wars did with his effects with JGE++ that is the look im going for

ok thanks for the comments guys,

i got good news and bad news:
good news: i had finished coding the game at work on my palm
bad news: i lost the file during the palm/pc sync

good news2: after i finished beating my head against the brick wall, i coded the lost parts

it is now 99.2 percent ready for release

i just have to add my signature "by dragula96" screen.
and v1.0 is a-go.

have to go to wal-mart, be back in 2 hours

qj should have put a better article with this video on the front page, i like this game its well done! you used great graphics, added a voume bar, and have sound in it! good work!

but the volume bar is from my tv

i had it hooked up to my tv via the A/V cables for easyer recording.

on a side note, if you dont know already, i relased the game last night. its up for download.
