Dear Homebrew users and programmers,

I would like to ask you the favor to support me in my Diploma thesis at the University of Munich, Germany:
Its purpose is to identify and understand the motives and the behavior of innovative users in the area of consumer electronics using the Sony PSP as an example.

Therefore I kindly ask you to answer the following questionnaire:

Answering takes up to 15 minutes.
The information you provide will be treated confidentially and will be only used in an aggregated and anonymous form. The data will be used exclusively for academic research purposes.
I would like to stress that I do not cooperate with Sony or any other company!

I dunno if I qualify as a "homebrew" coder as my stuff is windows based and works on an OFW or a CFW psp but I filled the survey in anyway

On a side note, I reckon it would be extremely interesting if you could post your thesis for us to read when you have been marked.

Anyone care to share what they put for the Lines of code for homebrew?

Very tricky question :P I'm afraid if i state mine ill get a bashing saying I'm wrong :-\

i put 4000+,

(can't go wrong with '+'!) just post your minimum possible.

Well I put 0 as for "I don't know". I have no idea how many lines I've coded, but I'm sure a 4000+ would suit best, but wouldn't be the real one still, as I've got some c files with 1500+ lines

Hello!
At first: Thanks a lot for filling in the questionnaire!

This is really a very precious support for my thesis!
It would be glad if some more of you could take part in it!

I don`t know yet whether I will publish the whole thesis on the web (It will be written in german language...).
But I will publish some results from the questionnaire, of course (in English!).

I'm gonna do that the following way:
After I have finished the diploma thesis I will ask the first admin (Shoesy) of www.PSPSource.de in which results he and the visitors of the page might be interested (especially him because he supports me in a very generous way). Then I'll be happy to provide this infomation within some descritive statistics.
As you seem to be interested, too, I will post a link towards the statistics in this thread.
(But this wont happen before end of may - before I've still to finish a small diploma thesis

)
