Default [Release] NervOS 1.0

After 2 months of hard work, NervOS 1.0 is finished.
NervOS is a shell which has the following features:
* Image Viewer
* Mp3 Player
* Can execute homebrew
* Can execute ISO's/CSO's
* Can execute UMD's
* Can load prx plugins (it is not finished so weird things may happen)
* USB Mode
* Shows the current time
* Shows the battery life percentage
* Take screenshots (press Select)

The menu works like the XMB, you can cycle through it with the right and left arrows.
The mp3 player works like the menu.

This looks promising, maybe the next irShell?

Keep it up

If you could get all the features of irShell in their, nameably USBhost and Wlan host, you'd be a god amongst squirrels. Or something.

i'm sorry... my mistake...
i already figured out where the problem was...
it was on my installation procedure.

i guess it's better if you will include the proper installation procedure in your documentation
as well as the controls and other settings next time...

nyway, thanks for this.
i'll try to play with this now...
keep you posted.

keep up the good work!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^
i have a question by the way...

i'm having a problem using it in PSP Slim having 3.90 M33-2.

actually in your archive files, there were 2 eboot.pbp.
which is the correct eboot to use?

neither way, i am having this error when i tried to load it...

this is thru the help of eloader by the way...
and when you run it directly from the XMB, different error will
be encountered and it will automatically exit...

help please...

The file structure isnt right in the binary
ms0:/PSP/GAME/eboot.pbp?

I appreciate you creditting me in your readme, but saying that you added file type detection isn't a huge feat considering it was already set up for that to be possible in the original source. All you had to do was use suffix and compare it to see if it's a png, or an mp3, or whatever, and then compare it in runFile and do whatever you want to it

Also, did you need help with the bootstrap? The app is completely hindered without that functionality. I've got an example set up if you want it.

Honestly, this would be a lot better if you removed all the intentional pauses throughout the app. Sitting there waiting for the app to disable USB and return to the menu is a little aggravating.

Apart from that, nice release

copy the contents of the folder ms0 to your ms root, you won't need the eboot loader for it as it does not use kernel mode directly, it uses kernel mode modules so it can be run on slims and fats.

Actually I have edited a lot more things in your source including the suffix thing.
Yes I need help with the bootstrap I think. Thank you Slash

here i am again...
but now with some comments...

i have tested this apps and it seems like IRshell but in a simplified and reduced form...
kinda simple and easy to use but i think it needs a little more improvements...

one thing i noticed was the presence of somewhat an indicator...
actually, using the menu or submenus, i can't see what i am selecting...
you mentioned that it looks like XMB but XMB indicates where i am or what is the menu or option i am selecting but on this app, sometimes i'm lost.

and since some of the menus (e.g. music player) is so simple, it seems a little
boring to use (just my thought... sorry for that)

and when i tried to run some apps or homebrew, the system crashed or hanged up...

i think this would be great in the future...
keep up the good work!
goodluck!

About the highlight, take a look at the screenshot, you should see it like that, But I've already changed the highlight on v1.2 (not released yet).
about the homebrew "crashes", tell me what apps crash please.

Not to be a **** but using Debug Font just kills this app completely, its like shooting yourself in the foot . Other than that its looking good, maybe a better skin is in need.

lol, are you talking about the pspDebugPrintf function or about the printTextScreen? Because I only use the debug print when initing NervOS.
