PS-Coverflow is back with its v2 release with lots of new features and new graphics. and of course bug fixes.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO READ THE README FILE ON HOW TO GET COVERFLOW COMPATIBLE IMAGES.

ok lets skip the boring talk and get to the new features.

NEW FEATURES:

- a cool side menu feature which will contain some nice features(disabled in some menus)
- improved coverflow control and design.
- when i release v3 i will have a really nice coverflow feature surprise for all of you

- really nice and sleek transparent graphics( will be still improved)
- music selection, browses music folder if you dont want to use coverflow

(v3 allows you to browse the whole memory stick.)
- my own coverflow design and code.
- theme selection temporarily removed and replaced with system info for now.
- delete album are and/or song within coverflow and player.
- in the music player it can load png,jpg, AND the mp3's id3 albumart. (thanks yongobongo)
- will integrate albumart from id3 into coverflow.
- added a clock for the fun of it
- displays how many covers found.
- next release i will add directory support for the music selection
- added mp3 play timer with cool fade effect.

- and many more i forgot to list at the moment
(will add ad hoc music and file transfer support soon in maybe v4 thanks to
Homemister)

wow mate, looks kik-ass, but the side menu could use a bit of work =). but ya overall looks much better and cleaner then the previous one.(also what did you code this in?)

thank you. yeah im working on the side menu and making it better. its still a new feature that will get improved as any other.

im glad everybody likes it so far. im going to release v2.3 soon, maybe within a couple of days. it will contain a couple of bug fixes and cleaning up the side menu design.

great work i'm already in love with this player, it kick sony's ass big time, only one thing i notice i don't know if it's just me but it only supports just a few covers then it seems that the application freezes then crashes. anyway great job i can't wait for the next release.

Thank you very much, im glad that you enjoy it. and thats an odd bug that i havent came across or gotten any reports of. are you following the album art instructions ive given in the readme. that may be the problem. if thats not it then it might be fixed itself in v3 which im recoding from scratch and it'll be awhile cause i have school, drumline, and many things taking up my time but im adding tons of new features to make up for the long time.

EDIT: in v3 you may customize all background,sidemenu,and font colors with an app that lets you create and preview it. then it generates a config file that can output it to you coverflow player or you can do it yourself. basically its a really cool feature.

this is in lua, does it say an error or something when you run it? its a standalone app.

well i need to know what the error is in order to fix it. could you write what it says when trying to run it. did you follow the instructions in the readme also? thats more likely your problem. cause this is running perfectly for everybody else and me.
