Default [Release] Chipmunk Physics Demo PSP

[IMG]http://mk2k.net/serendipity/images/chipmunklogo.png[****]

Hi,

here's a little port of Slembcke's chipmunk physics library and a demonstration of all demos that come with it.

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qplaML30ZQU

Also read the readme.txt that comes with the Download.
Download contains Firmware 1.50, Custom Firmware and Win32 versions and of course the Source. It contains the chipmunk port as well as the demo manager written in C++ using the JGE++ Engine.

Download via mk2k.net: click here!

enjoy!

QJ News posters: could you please correct the news a bit? Don't say I developed the physics engine in any sense, it is "just" a port of an already existing engine. Thank you.

Wow!

Slap some graphics on that little buggy at the end and you've got an awesome playing game right there,
not to mention the many other possibilities.

EDIT,,,
Just don't press Triangle while the demo is runnign or you get a huge series of
screenshots being saved to your MS in the program directory!

Art: Dont get excited yet, cuz im making a game you may like. Just Pm me if you want mote details.

MK2K: I would like to talk to you about benchmarks, as I recently ported the Box2D physics library over the PSP (I released it over at ps2dev.org)

Im able to get 59 fps with 252 Circles (this includes full physics simulation, ie no calculations stripped out)

Im just wondering what the Chipmunk lib is able to pull off. Also Doesnt Box2D support more joint types and features?

a_noob: Box2D has more features. To benchmark Chipmunk, you need to have the same parameters for it (including Graphics processing etc), so please grab the source from www.mk2k.net and do the same benchmark like with the box2d one.
