Hey right i have tried all the tutorials here all of trhem havent worked i have googled and got out of date ones whcih dont work either so can someone get me an up to date tutorial on setting up a development environment

Best Info I could find on trouble shooting installing the toolchain and setting up dev Maybe some one with more expirence will be able to help you, maybe some one in the dev dungon or release sections.

if youre serious about programming, i recommend dualbooting linux.

I'm sorry if this is like rumour land or something but isn't linux prone to hacking?
EDIT: Might Jus Stick To GFX design for Now :P

What exactly are you having a problem with? Does the toolchain script error, or do you have no idea how to run the script correctly? Are you having problems with Cygwin? No one can really specifically help you if you don't post any details.

It' setting it up i cant seem to be able to i always keep gettin errors of somekind

Just as a FYI the chances of getting your linux box hacked into compared to your windows computer are nigh. Also if you really are interested in coding for the PSP i suggest you set up a simple compiler/IDE and learn to program in C or C++ on the computer first, then come back later with questions on PSP programming once you are experienced.
