Hi there,
I´m here to release a new version of my music player GameMusicGear. This is just a Release Candidate, so if you find some bug it would be really nice if you can let me know at gama.coder@gmail.com and i will try to fix it. The app right know only supports a few formats, since i have to port them to the new plugin system . But i'm working on it, and i will try to release new plugins in the future.Well for those who dont read READMEs, this are some of the features of the app: > The app uses a new plugin system. There are three types of plugins. Input Plugins for audio decoding (like mp3 plugin, spc plugin, etc), Output Plugins to encode audio to another format (currently wav and mp3 encoders are available), and the Visual Plugins for music visualization, lyrics display (in the future), etc. Very similar to the winamp plugins. Each plugin consist of a config file (.plugin) and a module file (.prx). And can be replaced or removed if you want to upgrade or disable a plugin. > Skin Support - There are two skins available right now, a new simple skin, and the nice old skin made by rockMax. > Mini Visualizer - There are two mini visualizers available, spectrum and wave, inspired by the ones found in winamp. > Chinnese GBK, BMP and TrueType font support, with LATIN and UTF8 support. > Zip and Rar files support. > In game configuration screen. > Control keys configuration - You can configure it through the config menu, or you can do it manually editing the 'keys' file. You can download it here http://files.filefront.com/GMGearMXv10zip/;9939830 Well and here are some screenshots from the app: ![]() ![]() And from the fullscreen visualizations: ![]() ![]() Well hope you like it! |

I just tried this app and I LOVE IT! Thanks for all your hard work! I hope this will promote users to develop even more input and output plugins!

It was only a month, almost 2 months ago. I still wouldn't revive a month-old dead thread though, but its not that bad.
And I just found out about this program, because of MiKeY188. Looks very promising, I might try it out tomorrow. The UI looks very bunched up though. |

I am using an old fat PSP and it seems to turn off the power on me for some reason. Is anyone else using this with an old PSP? I have it in GAME380 and I am playing the games from system sub dirs (/SNES, /GEN, /GB etc)
I also can't get it to play SNES RSN files which is just compressed snes files. I also tried renaming them to .zip files and still no luck. Is there a trick to playing files from within a compressed file? I hit the Circle button while highlighting a song and it doesn't seem to do anything. It shows all the titles though. I didn't see anything in the readme about the controls. thanks |
