Talking [Release] Dodge the squares (Evilmana mini-game entry) v1.1

It's based on the Worlds hardest game (google it!)

Objective:
You are an Good blue Square. The rest are EVIL!! you have to save your fellow blue squares! without dying more than 3 Times!
The evil squares come from all directions so you have 2 study the pattern.
I'm thinking of turning this into an Big game with multiple levels but 4 now SAVE YOUR FELLOW BLUE SQUARES!!

-Added another enemy and changed some of the paths
-Selectable difficulty Easy/Medium/Hard Press Circle on your option use the Left and right buttons to naviagate down
-Added a Menu

Oh, nice I shall try it as soon as my PSP goes offline from spam mailing the Socom FTB2 severs to promote my youtube videos, which are bye the way over 45 and all PSP and Socom FTB2 related, LOL

I'm no coder, well atleast not for homebrew, but I think you should have as many releases as possible, BUT not every minor thing, and also I think you should just do a couple levels and get peoples feedback if that goes well, do it again, and if that goes well then do a major, major update with tons of levels maybe multiplayer and maybe you can choose your color, then more puzziling side/mini games or eventually build up a team that can help save more of your color.

I'm gunna update it but This One was coded for The Evilmana coding Compo. It had rules 4 that compo, No images and No file bigger than 5 kb, this has been compact thus not many features

im about to take a look at the code and make it twice as small

i would also like to point out the fact that you spelt dogde wrong as it is supposed to be dodge, unless you meant it to be that way

Ok I've just tried it on windows luaplayer and i cant even move :S and it's not like the online game This is more a mad panic runaway thing lol.

Going to try it on psp then take a look at the code

Edit -

Ok i can't last longer then 2 seconds without cheating Lol

I loled at it saying zelda for the eboot because i was sure i copied over this

Wow when you die you can move around a bit but not below the top line and the lives went down as i went across.

I'm not so good on lua but there's half a dozen things i can spot wrong

This could be good if made more like the online version and if worked on hard enough though.

note: it only took me about 20 mins.
Fat: The Code is messy i know its just an little mini-game. I am gunna improve it! its messy because i applied to the evilmana rules!!
it is based on the worlds hardest game!! u collect ur fellow square. then u move on. Fat u could do an better job than me on this game and u most probably could half the size!! but i am gunna improve it
mraellis: i need to change the eboot just used the zelda one cause i wanted to test it on my psp lol

dan download this i havent done it all because i cant be bothered to be honest but here is the link, it is already smaller than the origional and i have formatted it properly

My modified version
Size: 3.96 KB (4,059 bytes)
Size On Disk: 4.00 KB (4,096 bytes)

so it depends what evilmana were running on size on disk or size because if it is size on disk then ur well over

kk i remember why i did this know: see ive been trying to beat my record of completing kotor 2, i died and got frustrated so i coded this though using state systems is an far easier way 4 ai. I learnt that yesterday lol saves all the if player.x = watever statements lol

make sure you look over the code that tells the blocks how to move because it can be made much smaller

and nah thanks for the offer but i would like to keep it all my work, an yeah i have only been working on my site for three days, everything just seems to be going the right way, i dont think that i have had any major problems yet, but not many people seem to use the view me aspect of my site which i think will be really useful if people want live lua coding tutorials, i am also going to try and find a way of adding a kind of onsite instant messaging system so people can say if they dont understand something and i can explain it but that is just what i would like to do i dont actually know if it is possible, it should be with the large ammount of documentation that is on the web
