Basically I am writing an Engine for me and my friends. We have loads of games working with it but we don't have any applications, mainly because we can't think of any to make.
So, do you have any ideas of an application we could make?
We will credit you in the program.

what kind of engine, does it play media files?

if so, make an application that has an ipod interface, i love it, but hate ipods

It does audio =P. One of the games I'm developing runs on user audio files, however, thats irrelevent.
I'll work on that.

Well what does the engine do as in important function so we can have a better idea on what to suggest

Well, it's still a work in progress. Basically we are improving it as we program games and applications.
So say we needed an algorithm to calculate gradient from audio files we would make it and then add that to the Engine as we work.
So our engine pretty much does what the PSP can handle (or to how much we can code) except from video playback. Basically though i'm looking for apps which include any of the following:
2D Graphics
Flash writing
Audio
Fonts
Motion Sensing

Basically anything that doesn't require video playback. We are trying to improve our Engine before releasing it.

Wow good choice. We have a similar game to that already. The Engine does support 3D however we don't need anymore work on it.

Yeah and that game would be perfect for tilting the PSP to make it go whatever direction you want. GO FOR IT!

well for the aplication, thing mabey you could make a better ipod touch emulator, with the motion sensing, and mabey even make it possible for us to download IPod Touch apps/game. Just and idea.

Yeah that. But i'm pretty sure the ITouch has 128 mb of RAM and the psp has 32mb and 64 mb (depending on if it's a slim or original).

Im releasing a full game alongside the Engine to show its potentual and it still needs to be completed. AudioSurf like game on PSP anyone? :P
