Default [UPDATE]AutoStart PRX

Here's a small plugin I've made that allows you to launch your homebrew at startup. You can configure it to launch up to four different eboots with the included configurator. Any suggestions/comments/bugs can be left below or sent to my email address roe-ur-boat@hotmail.com Hope you like it!

Old Version:

New version with smaller prx:

When you say load up to four different EBOOT's. Do you mean simultaneously? :S

You can set a different eboot to each button. For example, by holding cross at start up, you can load one homebrew, while holding triangle will load another. I didn't think it was that hard to understand...

I think the included EBOOT is a bit overkill and the prx is slightly on the large size for what it is.

Still, nice release. Haven't seen one of these in a while.

I didn't think many people used time machine :/

Especially not the kind of users that will be downloading something like this. Time machine is now more for developer use.

I may be incorrect, but I think he is a developer.

The PRX is 89kB? I could do the same thing in an 8kB PRX (or less) o_O

Not like something on the order of kB is going to matter much, though.

I'm not really a developer... but I am now working with SG57 on his projects... including Boxhead, and hopefully future things.

I also use the TM to test builds on 1.5 kernel

plus it's good just in case my PSP's NAND gets fried... TM would still run

I installed the prx, enabled it, configured all 4 homebrews to each button (X,[],O,/\) and every time I restart my phat PSP (3.80 M33-5) with the any of the four buttons pressed while it boots it just goes straight to the XMB and nothing happens.

Is it enabled in vsh.txt?

He must have compiled it in user mode. That adds 89KB of bloat instantly. Which means the plugin code must be less than 1KB.

And for those who are concerned about Time Machine, just press the button a fraction of a second after you power on. Time Machine reads the key immediately on power on. If you wait for a short delay, it will be recognized by the plugin.

same thing happens to me on 3.90M33 phat PSP and before anyone asks, yes it's enabled/added to vsh.txt etc..

odd... I've just finished a new version with a load more buttons and the prx is reduced in size. I've also changed my eboot loading function so perhaps it will work this time.

Do we have to hold the desired button right after it restarts and continue holding until the homebrew launches or do we just tap it once, once the PSP restarts?

Not exactly top of my list at the moment, I'm not really into piracy.
