O.O Thank you! I've been waiting for this since the first version no longer worked.
Thanks man this is a very useful application!
First of all, thanks for sharing your work with us
This is great, I've been using your old plugin for a long time now, and so far is good but there is something that bothers me, when I release the hold button my psp takes a lot of time to shut off, also it cannot go into sleep mode after using it.
Hope this will get fixed with this new one, BTW I'm running 3.71M33-4 on both my phat and slim, and the same thing happens on both, I have to press the power button for like 10 secs to shut them off
I'm thinking this is because of the underclocking thingy, so if you're willing and have the time, could please you make one that only shuts off the screen when you press hold (on a side note the underclocking makes my .wma files lagg at the begining of every song).
Anyway, thank you very much and keep up the good work
dont think this is working for my phat, im pretty sure i installed it right

original black psp 1000 on 3.90 m33-3 with blue buttons
Firmware life:
1.5( i think)>2.0>2.6>1.5>3.71 m33>3.71 m33-3>1.5>3.71 m33-2>3.71 m33-4>3.90>3.90 m33-3>3.93>3.90>3.90 m33-3
I never made a previous version. That was by someone else. It was also named hold.prx.Originally Posted by XanderChaos

For the WMA lag, it'll just have to be underclocked to a higher speed instead of 61MHz. You can hex edit the value in the PRX, or I'll compile a new one. Note that the value in the PRX will be 60, the PSP just settles at 61 after underclocking.
Thank you very much for this plugin!
I really appreciate that you posted it![]()
Very cool! Thanks for sharing :).
I don't know how to use make an entry in VSH.txt, could you explain it to me clearly.
thanks
Great plugin. I have been waiting for something like this for awhile. I'm using it now.
Currently open for Testing. PM me. QJ letter limit is retarded.
Oh! ok, I thought you made the older one sorry
Also, this doesn't work on 3.71, guess I'll update to try it out, and also skype hehe
If you could compile another one without the underclocking it'll be great
Thanks for clearing this for me
quick question so placing the PSP on Hold with this plugin will preserve the battery much longer than placing the game on sleep mode??? I'm a little lost...
Yeah, I don't understand what the point of this is...?
This plugin is great but the wma is not working well.So i change offset like what the dev of this plugin said.
This is for people who use wma

Please give the credits to the dev:dj:
I'll try to remember to test this later, too bad it doesn't clock lower then the old hold.prx

Its to be used while listening to music or something. You don't need 222Mhz for that.
Clocking it anything less that 60Mhz caused some lag in 128kbit Atrac3Plus songs when the next song starts. 64kbit songs were good all the way down to 30MHz.
pspbtcnf.bin: Unused in custom firmwares
pspbtjnf.bin: Main config
pspbtknf.bin: March33 config
pspbtlnf.bin: NP9960 config
So basically you'll only have to change pspbtjnf.bin
Nice plugin Torch, this will be very useful. Thanks for the release.
One nice addition to this would be the function that turns the LEDs off like LEDControl does.Thats very handy when listening to music while trying to sleep. Especially when using the PSP Radio, the WiFi light's constant blinking gets annoying.
Longhart, could you please tell what speeds you changed the plugin to?

Thanks Torch! Works great!![]()
Well, at least that explains it. For playing MP3's you could clock the system much lower via Music.prx on older firmwares and was hoping this would get close to that.
