no, not yet... ill work on that tonight.. or tomorrow.

the most recent version of Mikmod(3.2.0-beta2) is built into it , so it supports all of its sound and module formats at the momment.

Major props if it does have 3d support but I seriously doubt it.

need to know something before downloading it..
I'm working on Lua Projects including GU3D...I'm currently developing my brews with Glynnder's Lua Devkit, but it doesn't run the 3D Cube Script.

Tell me, is this player able to run Gu3D scrpts..? such as the 3D cube for instance...

"Updated... .mp3 (based off of Mod 4). it uses a different library so it may not behave in exactly the same way.. i emulated it as best as i could. and i also added a simple "front end" dialog so you can now load what ever script. . . "

oh my god that is horrible. You realize that WLP uses cygwin to make a unix world for it to run in, in windows? So if you ran this in wine youd be making a windows world which makes a unix world like what youre already in. AKA blah you should mess with this and make it linux friendly

also blah i am that guy who made L3D in case you didnt know, did you ever get your super sweeto edition finished?

actually... a couple of people have said that it is working in Wine (Linux) and Darwine (OSX) ..

i didnt have any plans to port it.. as i am not familiar with either operating systems.

i put it away for awhile .. i just felt that the version of lua player i was using wasnt good enough for it or luaplayer in general ( slow as hell ).... i think i was pushing it way beyond its limits.

considering i am not the official maintainer of luaplayer.. i didnt have a whole lot planned.. i just wanted a better version..the existing windows version(in my opinion) is really bad, SLOW, buggy, missing 3d related functions and above all it wasnt being updated.

as for documentation, sorry ... i havent had a whole lot of time latley... and the functions are all the same, besides what i havent added back yet.

adding other image formats is possible.. but then id have to add it to a psp build (MOD) and release that .. at this point this is based off of the original luaplayer.

updated the download...

there is a chance this release could be a bit unstable, since i re-wrote the gui and added some things.. but on my end so far i havent ran into any problems.

the startup dialog is a little different (im not finished with it). its going to change..

Quote:
added the option to use the console.

on startup in the dialog window it can be selected to start or while luaplayer is running with the right-click context menu it can be opened or closed. (while the console is running errors are directed to it instead of the message box)

added option to force "waiting for vertical refresh" ... also on startup.

i also re-wrote the gui.. and cleaned up the code..
Quote:
ive emulated the analog too.

how it works:

the center of the window would be the "dead zone". (the size would depend on what you define in your script)

example: "if math.abs(pad:analogX()) > 32 then" 32 being the size of the "dead zone".

then with the mouse (holding the left button down) drag it in what ever direction. when you release the mouse button or go within the the bounds of the "dead zone" it returns back to the "dead zone".
...

I really like that you incorporated MP3 and 3D, but when I run it it just says:
could not initialize sound

what did I do wrong???
