Default [Release] AutoStart PRX V3

Hey all, it's been a while since I released the last version but I spent today working on a way to only autoboot a selected game on startup and I got it. Now you can autoboot a game without pressing any buttons on startup. Also, now you are able to assign backed up games to any of the specified buttons.

I hope this plugin can be useful and if anyone has any suggestions, bugs or comments feel free to post below.

roe-ur-boat

Spoiler for readme:
Autostart PRX
--------------
This plugin allows you to assign buttons to hold at startup that launch specified homebrew. It also allows you to assign a homebrew to autoboot at startup. If anyone has any problems or suggestions feel free to contact me at roe-ur-boat@hotmail.com.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for downloading,
roe-ur-boat

To install:
1. If you have a previous version of AutoStart.prx installed delete the Config.ROE file in ms0:/seplugins
2. Put the AutoStart.prx into the seplugins folder at the root of your memory stick
3. Open your existing vsh.txt and add ms0:/seplugins/AutoStart.prx to it or just copy over the one provided. Do the same with game.txt.
4. Copy the AutoStart Configurator folder into ms0:/PSP/GAME/
5. Start the configurator from the game menu
6. Pick your options
7. Enable the PRX for GAME and VSH in recovery mode.
8. Restart and hold the buttons to launch your homebrew

ChangeLog:
Version 3:
Now you can assign a homebrew to autoboot. Handy for cintro. (No looping!)
Now you can not only assign homebrew but backed up games too.

Version 2:
Added more buttons
Improved the configurator
Fixed a bug that showed the SCE logo when you exited from a homebrew
Descreased the prx size from 30kb to 9kb

Version 1.1:
Descreased the prx size from 90kb to 30kb

Version 1:
Initial release(obviously)

PS: Thanks to FearEvil19 for testing in the last few minutes before release

That guide you linked to used my AutoStart PRX V2 and the only reason it didn't loop was because you had to hold a button to make the cintro launch. This is actually the first autoboot plugin that doesn't continually loop the autostarted homebrew/game.

Great job!

Any way of making a patcher to patch it into the Flash 0?

For some reason, the plugin does nothing on my Slim. I have set it to auto-launch Cintro via the configurator but it does nothing. I have enabled the plugin in both VSH.TXT and GAME.TXT.

EDIT: It launches gpSP and UMDumper via the buttons fine, so I guess there's a problem with my Cintro. I'm using Cooljs test player for 3.90 M33 or something, dunno. Any newer versions? Does anyone know?

EDIT2: Ahh, now it works. I started the configurator, set the AUTOBOOT to OFF first and then back ON and now it works. And it doesn't loop! Excellent plugin!

Haha, the only problem I'm having is that my Cintro is really long, and I can't bypass it like I used to in previous versions

You need to add the plugin to both VSH.TXT and GAME.TXT, then go to the AutoStart configurator, assign ms0:/PSP/GAME/CINTRO/ to the correct button you want to use and then restart your PSP and hold the button you selected. It didn't work for me at first, so if it doesn't work for you, go to recovery mode, enable "Skip SCE logo" under Configuration and exit recovery. It might not still work, so after your PSP has booted to XMB, shut it down and then restart, that's how it worked for me..

Are you 100% sure you have the plugin in both VSH.TXT and GAME.TXT, and enabled in both?
