The Magic Number is a simple game coded in Lua (yeah...) which reads your mind and tells you which number you are thinking of.
This game is fairly boring if you play it by yourself, as you will either figure it out or get stumped as to how I am able to read your mind so easily. It is good for amazing friends and stuff though...little kids seem to be particularly impressed by this trick ![]() Enjoy ![]() Spoiler for Images:
Download ZIP [1.9 MB] Installation The Magic Number uses the latest Lua Player HM Mod. To run it, simply put it in GAME (with your kernel set to 3.xx/4.xx) or GAME3XX/GAME4XX. Spoiler for How does it work?:

I love magic and I never really thought about doing magic tricks using my PSP and because of this you have now given me a few ideas!
Ha, anyway, this is a niftly little trick and is very similar to the same trick using cards although this is probably a little more complicated (I can kind of get how you did it but I don't want to spoil it for anyone so I'll leave it at that). I like the presentation. I wish you could come up with more! Otherwise I'll have to code some myself, ![]() Oh yeah, next time you should use something like PSPBrew so you can edit the icon and background of the eboot and customize it with your own images. Nice work! |

I believe PSPBrew should work for it because I learned about it from the LuaPlayer forums and someone suggested using it with the "LuaPlayer for 3.71 FW" which I assume is LuaPlayer HM.
Again, nice work, littlevish. |

Just adding, PSPBrew just edits the PBP container (aswell as the SFO), which has never changed. It will work for any PBP, it's a pretty basic file format.
Anyway, this looks good. Reminds me of that old crystal-ball flash application. Oh, and the code could be made much cleaner using tables. |
