What's this?

Here is the 3rd version of this Lua coded game.It's a kart racing Simulation game, including Many
characters of Nintendo.As the title implies, it is a clone of Mario Kart 64 for PSP.
This Current build is the 3rd release.A great list of changes have been done on the code to make the game more exciting

You're "cloning" a 3D game as a sidescroller... not much in common IMO.

Ok people, its like this, this is not a clone whatsoever, this is a remake of Mario Kart 64 but it is in 2D so dont expect it to be the same, remember the actual game was in 3D and those elements are not implemented here, its a remake in terms of the cups and the tracks (thou they have some originality).

You will get new characters but you will also get a feeling of the tracks that were on the original but this time in 2D. Again the only 64 on this is the remake of the tracks and the cups, nothing else, a side from that its a whole different game. Now, the game is not finished yet, expect many more things in the future releases.

To sean, congrats man on releasing this one and we will be working on the last one as promised.

To the ones that still dont get the idea or dont like it, its simple dont download it, dont play it and forget about it.

To the ones that downloaded this and like it, expect more ;). Take care you all!!!

The point is not that it's not in the spirit of MK64, but this is nothing like it and he's marketing it as if it is a CLONE and a CLONE is EXACTLY THE SAME.

Oh dont worry about it, no more clone thing in the next release, not a clone as I stated before, so you can forget about the clone part. If you can make a CLONE of it in LUA then go ahead ;). This is a game for fun and much time is being put into it. You either like it or you dont, so dont flame sean just cuz your dictionary says this is not a clone, enjoy if you like, forget if you dont, simple as that!

Just because they are main guys doesn't mean they can pick on other peoples hard work. I bet when they first started out it would have been a real kick in the teeth if people made fun of their work.

They don't pick on the work or the hardness of it, they just state that it isn't a clone or remake :P
I hope JeanPaul isn't too much offended and I hope that more developers would concentrate on creativity or at least rip graphics from authors they have the permission to.

sorry i was unavailable, that's why i didn't make any comment.

What can I say ? just in simple terms thanks to TurtlesPWn and raphael (cause i understood i didnt really get the basical definition of a Clone..) I Think i should correct this in the last call. Thanks.
