Default pspdev wont run

well out of the blue the pspdev batch file wont run, and no batch files will run, not even a basic exe file i complied will (which looks similar to batch files) idk why it does it but sometimes it just like fixes itself, i googled this but found nothing, im on vista btw

EDIT

o sorry i forgot to mention when i try and run the program it pops up for a split second and goes away

pspdev is a precompiled developing setup... and you run a .bat file instead of cygen. But it still uses cygen.


zeroxorxdiexskater : try running a command promt. Hold windows key and type 'r' > then type in 'cmd'.

I'm not sure about vista, but it shouldn't be too much different..
Tell me what happens when you try to run a command prompt.

should i just cd to pspdev and run it there?

nvm that dont work

o and i can run cmd but NOT *.cmd files

I know, sry I wasn't reading first post. I tired are you using cygwin or a precompiled version of PSPDEV?? I suggest cygwin if you are not already using it.

uh i guess a precompiled version of pspdev, i have cygwin but i have oslib on pspdev which i like much better haha ill just have to install oslib on cygwin for now i guess

cygwin is not an answer i dont have psptoolchain on it so i rly dont wanna wait like 5 hours for that to install

oh yea i remember why i didnt install toolchain
when i try i get an error saying it cant find ncurses.h
whats that and where can i install it?

you install ncurses when you setup cygwin. its under libs or devel. just run the cygwin setup.exe again and install it
