do you care if I add words to it myself?? If I release, won't take any credit at all, I will say it was made by you, and I just added some more words, thats all

just let me know, also I think if you made a themepicker that would be cool, so you could have like idfferent backgrounds, lol and mabey people can even chose from like a list of who head they want on the stick figure for the hang man, even later make it where they can upload there own photo's of faces, lol I see alot of potential with this, you could make this into a really awesome game, I even have ideas for more types of game play, and multiplayer

just let me know if you want to know my ideas, I dont require any credit what so evr just want to make this game all it can be

I got bored, didn't finish it, but just for ****s I decided to have a go at a simple hangman game.....

If you can follow the stupid logic in it, feel free to use whatever you want out of it. link

I'll check it out, thanks Turtles. I wasn't really planning on updating the game as it does what it is supposed to do but we'll see. I will probably add more words though.

You should make it read a textfile filled with words for the users, then the game will randomly pick one of them, that way people who want to add their own words won't have to edit the source

that (@durkadurkamahn's (lolteamamerica) way) is how I did mine so you just put each word on a separate line, I suggest doing it that way as well

an interface using the danzeff keyboard or such would be good for a UI word adder too using append mode and such. if you need any help with that just PM me

That's pretty much what I did, it's just called ".lua" and there are quotation marks around each word and a comma after each one. If anyone wants to add their own words, they can just follow the example. No need to know lua or anything. Did you mean it should be a simple list and not an array? That could probably be a possibility but like I said before, I'm not planning on doing a lot more to this as it functions perfectly fine. But thanks for the input

So, can i translate all the words in you hb for a french website ?

I got a problem, because, i'm so bad in develpment, so i've done a complete translation of all the words, but when i try the hb, i meet some errors, so i give you the translation and i hope you can do something with it : )

It was created by andyauff in the scripting language lua. It works on fat and slim PSP systems. It was released on August 4th, 2008. It includes 599 words from http://www.bckelk.ukfsn.org/words/basic.html: (400 [399] general things and 200 picturable things), and the American spellings are used. Select a letter to choose with the directional buttons and choose it with cross. If you guess the word correctly, congratulations! Press SELECT to stop the script and then START to restart it. This will choose a new word for you. If you guess incorrectly too many times, you will be hung. In that case, press START to try again with a new word. Have fun, and thanks for downloading!
