Exclamation [WIP] OoblikXMB v0.2 Beta (Preview)

v0.2 Beta (Preview)
By: Ooblik

This a XMB replacement project for the PSP. Currently there are not many functions.
I am hoping that anyone with experience in coding for the PSP can help me with
UMD/ISO/EBOOT/PSP Launching, Skin/File Browser, Photo Viewer, MP3 Player and
Other functions not implemented. This is only a preview so don't expect much of it.

Currenty Only Tested on PSP Slim 4.01 M33-2

So far everything is visually customizable. Check Config.cfg and Skin.cfg in the
Skins/Default folder for more information. I hope to see many creative Skins!

To Install Copy OoblikXMB folder to PSP/GAME on your memory stick.

If you would like to help, know how to code any of the functions previously stated,
or hjave any suggestions/feedback/bugs please email me at timooblik@hotmail.com
Subject: OoblikXMB Help. Or look for me on the ps2dev.org forums I'm Ooblik

Changelog:

v0.2 Beta
- USB Toggle
- Web Browser (almost)
- Customizable Skins

looks like it could be a viable replacement, but you would need things like a browser and radio, and stuff like that to be close to the xmb

The web browser is already coded I just need help coding a function to launch EBOOTS. The radio is a webpage so both should be in the next release.

well i'd say, by the look of it, that it uses the vlf library by dark_alex

edit there are functions for loading eboots and iso's in the 401 sdk, you'll find it in the 401m33 download

Yeah I've got Sony's Browser Working Now, UMD Launching works perfect, I've also made the icons scroll much smoother. I am not using the VLF library I looked at it but it was too much work to implement it. Looping images was easier :P And yes it is coded in C (None of the LUA crap).

The point of this release was to let people see how customizable it is. Not to replace the XMB right away...
