This needs lots of fixes i fix them in CSPortable 0.8

under "search for games" you can type an address , don't type anything just click X on it and you'll join an ad-hoc game another player has started.

you can surf; just crank up sv_accelerate in the console.
you need to get a surf map compatible with quake though and put it into your maps folder

It does if it has rounds/bomb(plant-defuse) and all the bugs fixed which I think Stealth Kill is working for CSPortable 0.8

Only thing I really miss about this project still, is compliance to the GPL license put on the quake source this project is based upon.
I can understand why you don't want to release the source, but then you shouldn't have based this on a GPL licensed engine in the first place.

I really miss that as well. Its just not the same without compliance to the gpl

It's not a matter of "making it better with sauce!!!11". It's a matter of respect and... legality. As is, those releases are illegal as they don't fullfill the license given. Not that anyone here on QJ would actually care about it.

Hm. In single player, is it meant to be only you? And does the infrastructure actually work?

This is awesome though, nice job with the gfx etc.

Although there's one thing I've noticed in quite a few homebrew FPS - the controls always seem odd. Maybe you should try a control scheme like that in Medal of Honour: Heroes. I just think it would flow much more easily.

Apart from the controls, nice work!

problems:

whenever i join a team and buy, lets say a mac-10, from then on i cant buy any more things even if i have the money
i press LEFT and then press X on the Buy Menu, it just makes that sound and nothing comes up

whenever i kill someone, once i did a two in a row headshot in cs_italy, i get no money for it!!
how am i supposed to buy anything, like those expensive machine guns??
