Default [Release] Home Viewer V1.0

Here's another badly-named application I've made that I made so I could sort the many games and apps on my PSP. You can freely move your games up and down in the list and there is also an option to sort them all alphabetically. There is also a search feature and you can launch your stuff from the app aswell.

I hope somebody else finds this useful and if anyone has any suggestions or comments feel free to post below or send an email to my address in the readme.

Looks good, but if you release a next version you should have a wallpaper or something instead of it looking so plain.

Home Viewer, i think the name is not fitting if we can only manage Apps..
It could a great File Manager...

But nice anyway.

The MP3 player is a good idea, I'll add it in another realease if I have more feautures. I also forgot to mention that there is a search feature in the app and you can launch your stuff too.

Edit: I will make it so that the PIC1 image of the selected game will be the background.

quite a handy little app. I've been using Homebrew Sorter to organize my homebrew but I might start using this only thing is I've encountered a few problems.. when u scroll through the list too fast it crashes and also it seems to be displaying the wrong free space amount. it says I have 27MB free when I have 56MB..

i got another problem

whenever i go to an iso (eg FWDL.iso) the memory stick light lights up fully and freezes
have to annoyingly turn it off by holding the power button

other than that, nice app
didnt run into any other problems

though i didnt fully try it yet (cause of freezing problems)

Is that even possible? Does this app effect the flash0 in any way?

Well, in the olden days of homebrew every piece of homebrew and every QJ article came with the warning that you should read the README and that youshould be careful because it is possible that the homebrew will brick your PSP. That has pretty much stopped now but I guess it still applies to some homebrew. I reckon it has something to do with those crashes that are caused by simple things like scrolling too fast, etc.

I have seen some old articles but I just assumed it was QJ covering their ass. That sucks man. roe-ur-boat you should try and find the cause.

I'm pretty sure this app doesn't even touch flash0 so it would be impossible for it to brick ur PSP. the worst it could do is mess up ur memory stick..
@jcke13 try taking ur battery out and putting it back in...

ok i have a problem everything seems to work fine except if i browse to the bottom and go one click past the last entry my psp freezes and i have to force shutdow...i tryed putting another file as last entry and still the same problem ...freeze...
i dont know if this is related but the first entry has no name and icon(after i saved alphbetically)

please fix that problem ...i really find this program usefull...i will use homebrew sorter for now...but yours is like a step up so please fix it ...

maybe it is not compatible with 390 cf

for your info : slim 390 m33-3...ms0(sandisk) 8 g (almost full)

It shouldn't be able to brick the PSP, are you kidding?

It's a user mode app, I don't think it has flash0 write permissions..

Anyway, like someone said it crashes when going through too fast and when highlighting some homebrew/commercial games.

That was QJ covering their ass before they fully understood the simple fact that anything that touches your flash can brick your psp, nothing else will.

Also, person claiming to have bricked psp, I seriously doubt it.

This app can't brick your PSP, also school just started and it's a big year for exams and the like so I don't have as much time. I should have an update out soon enough though.
