Hi,

I'm here to enter my new game Moorhuhn PSP v3 into the PSP Updates Summer Homebrew Contest.

How to control the game:

Analog stick or the D-Pad: move the gun.
R: shoot
L: reload
Square: pause
Start: go to main menu

Fun mode additions (you can enable the fun mode in the Settings menu):
Circle: Machine gun
Triangle: Ultra chicken release xD

Breakout mode:
Dpad/analog stick: move paddle
R: release ball

UPDATE:
Doesn't use any copyrighted material anymore!

Hi sony psp player, I think Moorhuhn PSP v3 looks pretty darn cool, but I'm afraid we can't accept it as an official entry to the contest. The reason being that it appears to use sprites and copyrighted imagery from Chicken Hunter. If this is the case, we simply can't accept it as it would open us up to potential litigation. I hope you understand our position.

I know, it sucks, but there's not much we can do.

That would be awesome, the contest deadline's really close though midnight of the 12th, so it'll be tight. I'm rootin' for him though, and it would make a great story!

I have removed the copyrighted sprites and made my own. Can I enter the competition now?

Maybe you don't have the kernel set to 3.xx or 4.xx?

I tried the game on a phat 3.90 psp and on a slim 4.01 psp, both working.

i have a phat 3.90
since ihave 1.5 addon im always on 3xx kernel

btw i found out that the old one i had the functions.lua is 24KB and the new one is 25kb,,,

yes it goes on definitely
but i get lua error

Error: functions.lua:14: bad argument #1 to 'remove' (table expected, got nil)

Press Start to restart

and it repeats

sony psp player,
I have a few suggestions for your game.
1. Speed up the cursor: when you move the analog nub and the keys, the cursor does not move fast enough, so if i shoot something on the left side of the screen, i cant get to the right fast enough.
2. Change the ammo icon: no offense but it looks a bit like a lipstick tube. also a counter and smaller shells in the corner would replace this well.

So yea, those are my suggestions.
