Default PSP Updates Summer Homebrew Contest - Last Card

Here's an entry for the Homebrew contest

http://members.cox.net/mathfacts/lastcard.shtml

Last Card

The object of the game is to have the winning score when a player reaches the seelcted points.

Each player receives 7 cards.
One card will be turned face up.
To play, select a card that matches the color or the number/text
If you cannot play you must draw a card
Special cards affect the play:
Skip - skips the next player
Draw # - the next player draws # and skips their turn
Reverse - changes the direction of play
Wild - You can change the suit to any color
Wild +4 - you can change the suit to any color and the next player draws 4 cards and skips a turn
If you have one card left, YOU MUST press the right bumper to indicate it is your last card
If you fail to do this, you will be forced to draw 2 cards.
When a player plays their last card, each player will gain points based on their cards.
Wild cards = 50 points
Rev/Draw/Skip cards = 20 points
Number cards = their value

Play:
Left-Right = select card
X = play card
O = Draw card
Right Bumper = Last card
Up + Triangle = restart
Down + Triangle = quit

Though it is fully playable, I am going to continue to work on the game.

# of players
Score to play to
Draw until you can play - or draw only once
Play wild any time, Only when you dont have the color, only when you can't play anything else.

Those are some of the options I am working on.
That's what I meant by "option screens."

BTW just extract it to your Game directory to play.

I've added a menu to select various menu options.
This way you can fine tune the game to your preferences.

You can get the latest version from the link in the first post.
Hopefully QJ will host it soon.

Thanks for that. I messaged them we'll see what comes of it.

As a dev, you spend a lot of time making a freeware product and you want people to enjoy it. I like to get the feedback from the community to see how thier ideas incorporate into your own. But, to do that, you have to be starting at the same place!

Hopefully they will update the link!

Update:
That contact address didn't work; I received this email:
Oh well!

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at garibaldi.swishmail.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

That's an incorrect link and has nothing to do with the main blogsphere (my.qj.net was a portal for users to generate the news items and content).

The only ways of contacting the blog staff (sadly) is to use the existing contact us link on the QJ homepage or leave a comment in the comments section of the article. If they are doing their job, they should notice the comment and adjust the article.

sorry i dindt realise, i suppose there isnt any direct way to contact the bloggers as the would probably get mitherted with small developers mailing them every two seconds saying "hey i updated my app to V72 and i changed the colour of the third pixel from the left on the top row to red so i added 1 to the version number".

lol anyway sorry for the wrong information, i wish myself there was a way that we could contact the bloggers properly to give them the right kinds of updates such as this.

p.s. great game btw, skillful copyright infingment avoidence (swapping the oval on the card the other way + symbols etc.)
