[Release] Custom Firmware 1.50 BDT ( FE-7 )

Hi guys !
I am Darkside developer of the Black Devs Team.
I post on this forum the latest version of custom firmware FE, created by Darkside (ME ) and Zer01ne.


This custom firmware improves the firmware of the Time Machine, it is very useful for owners of PSP SLIM.
By adding vshmenu, the possibilities of launching a UMD higher than the 1.50 (a little Bug for the moment but will soon be corrected), a recovery, the possibilities of changing the name of the firmware, and many other things.
It is also compatible PSP FAT.
You must have the latest version of DDC ( Despertar del cementario) and the time machine.
The installation should be done 150_340 SLIM.

meh its alright, nothing special. but to have to enter the password EVERY time you try to go into 1.50 makes this totally useless. the time machine is for convince,. if you take that away, theres no use

EDIT: the recovery menu is very nice tho! i like the ability to change XMB items so easily very handy

hmm this is basically the same thing as 1.50 XE, except 1.50 XE came out just after time machine...This may have some more features.

so can i use the recovery menu to enable a specific plugin that cant work on 5.0 m33 (lcscheatdevice) and launch a 2.6 (lcs) umd???

Wait, does this install the 1.50 to the SLIM NAND, or does it just expand on the capabilities in TM?

If it is on the NAND, it helps but if it isn't then it won't be of much use to me.

Hey if you can take care of the password to start the 1.50_3.40 time machine, that would be great. If iis a one time password that doesn't show up again, i'd be fine with that even. just typing it in every time is annoying

This version is only for the TM but an other version exist for the TM and Nand slim, i give you the link ( It's in french, for some question ask me ) :

It's not the first version of this custom firmware !!
this custom firmware is back next the time machin as the XE.

It's just for improve the Time machine with a Recovery, a vshmenu, Fepass to secure, UMDCTRL to lunch an Umd more than the Firmware 1.50, FE snap ...

The module UMDCTRl will be improve, beacause for the moment some umd no start .

It is therefore more things that the XE.

For those criticizing this work, this agreement is not a big custom firmware but it still improves the time machine, and contrary to what you may think it has taken a long time to encode!

No, you can disabled this in ms0:/system/config.fe
Add the # at line autoboot ms0:/system/fepass and it will be disabled .

Working very well i must say After the initial slow boot it is very nice!

how do i turn off the vsh recovery screen after pressing L+R? Pressing any button is still controlling the xmb, notthe recovery menu :-/ wierd...

No we have not done that add two prx!
And we did not change pspbtcnf.txt must vshmain amended to include the various prx and fix the slim support to the NAND Version .
Then before judging a creation, respect at work and think that this represents the back.
For example, the updater has been a long programming.
And I assure you that the sources are not so simple that even if this custom firmware is not a big step forward for the scene he at least deserves to be done, and we have learned a lot of things.
So before you criticize respect the work of others, especially when it is done to try to improve something!

Yeah, I researched some more and found out that this is actually pretty complicated. So props to you. I've just seen so many "custom firmwares" that I was pretty sceptic. And I still am.

You say you're going to make a custom firmware which is going to be installed in the NAND? Not based off this is it? I mean, we've seen so many custom 1.50's.

The original 150_340 that is installed with time machine does NOT work well when enabling USB with my 8gb memorystick. Windows shows tons of corruptions in the file names and structures.

Is there any modification to this firmware to fix that problem? (i haven't tried it yet because i want do that when using resurskilinski)
