IRShell for 5.00m33

Apparently AhMan is planning to release an 5.00m33 compatible IRShell as soon as irshell.org is back online :)

AhMan: "Just to let you know I’ll be releasing another iR Shell public release for 5.00M33. It will have all the SE features, including infrared remote learning. Currently, irshell.org is being re-designed and re-worked by some of the private forum members. Once the site is completed, the public release will be out."

The best feature of the SE releases is the IR learning, it works perfectly, and I didn't even know the PSP was capable of point-and-shoot IR learning. No more having to look up codes or anything. Ahman is the man ;)

when i here SE i think Special Edition, like the custom firmware series.
but thinking of SE like that don't make sense since the only way you could run IRShell would be on custom firmware anyway..( yes i know... 1.00&1.50 ... but really....)

he meant the ones he made especially for the se series firmwares.

SE Editions are "Special Editions" for beta testers and some donators.
BTW: The new iR Shell is out - http://www.irshell.org/ - wait a second when you get there ;)

I've been using IRshell all this time and I've been using 4.01 and more recently 5.00. Someone released a patch so the 3.90 IRshell can be used on 4.01 and I had no problems with it running in 5.00. I don't know what your guys' problem is. Maybe you just didn't try to see if it worked.

Great news. My PSP has been lying around relatively inactive the last year, but this makes me want to start using it again. Thanks for the news and for the work and for sharing!

Ok, so I go into the patch folder and pick the btcnfpatch.prx. A black screen pops up telling me to choose ‘x’ to begin. When I do that it gives me an error message that said ‘error copying irspatch.prx’. What do I need to do now? I have googled this and am not able to find any answers. What is your advise on this?:Argh:

look at irshell.org and the forums and use the search feature maybe even sign up and then ask if you cant find the answer.
