Apparently AhMan is planning to release an 5.00m33 compatible IRShell as soon as irshell.org is back online

The website aswell says about updates to the website (irshell.org) so that some sort of proof. Within the week it says, maybe a public release next week:?:?:?:?

The best feature of the SE releases is the IR learning, it works perfectly, and I didn't even know the PSP was capable of point-and-shoot IR learning. No more having to look up codes or anything. Ahman is the man

No one, who liked the psp scene will leave from the coding portion...

Anyways, the main thing I have always wanted was the IR REMOTE LEARNING! I HAVE ALWAYS RAN INTO TIMES WHEN I COULDN'T CONTROL SOMETHING!

agreed!!! i cant controll my tv haha but its not cause i dont know were the remote is. its because im too lazy to put new batteries in lol :]

this was the only thing holding me back from upgrading from 3.90. i now am with the "in" crowd on 5.00 and waiting for this release

when i here SE i think Special Edition, like the custom firmware series.
but thinking of SE like that don't make sense since the only way you could run IRShell would be on custom firmware anyway..( yes i know... 1.00&1.50 ... but really....)

he meant the ones he made especially for the se series firmwares.

this will help alot with my phat. too bad i cant do it on my slim though. =}

SE Editions are "Special Editions" for beta testers and some donators.

I've been using IRshell all this time and I've been using 4.01 and more recently 5.00. Someone released a patch so the 3.90 IRshell can be used on 4.01 and I had no problems with it running in 5.00. I don't know what your guys' problem is. Maybe you just didn't try to see if it worked.

PS: Huzzah for new version.

Great news. My PSP has been lying around relatively inactive the last year, but this makes me want to start using it again. Thanks for the news and for the work and for sharing!

PS, StoneCut: Is the IRC channel still on irc.dark-alex.org? It gives me the error message "change your ident please." no matter what my nick is. Know what the problem is? Thanks.

Ok, so I go into the patch folder and pick the btcnfpatch.prx. A black screen pops up telling me to choose ‘x’ to begin. When I do that it gives me an error message that said ‘error copying irspatch.prx’. What do I need to do now? I have googled this and am not able to find any answers. What is your advise on this?

look at irshell.org and the forums and use the search feature maybe even sign up and then ask if you cant find the answer.
