Default [Release] APPSwitcher PSP 1.1

Code:
Author MK2k / www.mk2k.net
Name APPSwitcher PSP
Version 1.1
Platform PSP (Custom Firmware 3xx-5xx)
Dev-Details VSH Plugin Developed in C

Description

APPSwitcher is a little VSH plugin that lets you categorize your homebrew for the XMB.

By the press of a button combination you can then switch from category to
category which then gets shown to you right on the XMB.

New in this Version
  • ISO, GAME150 etc. directories now work
  • The content of the memorystick gets automatically refreshed (no need for the workaround of activating/deactivating the USB mode anymore)
  • The standard XMB functionality should now work correctly

Thanks!

Any chance this will evolve in a RAM change instead of renaming the dirs?

davee and bubbletune's version uses the vshmenu to select your folders and does not rename

Nice App MK2k,

I just tried it and have some problems with the ISO folder, switching Apps with
ms0:/PSP/GAME;ms0:/PSP/BREW_APP
ms0:/PSP/GAME;ms0:/PSP/BREW_NO_APP

worked fine, but doing the same with
ms0:/ISO;ms0:/ISO_NO_GAMES
ms0:/ISO;ms0:/ISO_GAMES

didn't work at all?
Any Idear why?

I Just want a way to see only my Iso games or my Homebrew stuff.

regards,
WeeWee

so you have the following appswitcher.txt:

Code:
ms0:/PSP/GAME;ms0:/PSP/BREW_APP
ms0:/PSP/GAME;ms0:/PSP/BREW_NO_APP
ms0:/ISO;ms0:/ISO_NO_GAMES
ms0:/ISO;ms0:/ISO_GAMES
and the following directories on the memstick:

ms0:/PSP/BREW_APP
ms0:/PSP/BREW_NO_APP
ms0:/ISO_NO_GAMES
ms0:/ISO_GAMES

and the following directories NOT on the memstick (i.e. deleted):
ms0:/ISO
ms0:/PSP/GAME

if so, it should work fine.

Another thing: does APPSwitcher tell you that it switched to ms0:/ISO_NO_GAMES for example or does it tell that there has been an error? If there has been an error, then look at ms0:/appswitcher.log

Yes that was the fault, I didn't delete the Folders ISO and PSP/GAME, but the Game section worked anyway, strange.

I didn't had any error as well, so no log file...

BTW, would it be possible to include a either ISO or PSP/GAME switch?
or a general either one or another Folder switch, this would be nice in my point of view

Thx anyway

I had that idea too, I could map 4 switch-modes to D-Pad UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT... and call the app ANYSwitcher then hehe
