    Powernoid V1

    Hi Guys,
This is one of the few GAME programs I have written, and by far my favourite.
Powernoid V1 was written in less than two days.
I always loved a particular Breakout clone that I played on the Amiga CD32,
and that is the public Domain game that I found on a magazine cover CD which
    inspired this PSP Breakout/Arkanoid clone.

The sort of powerups in this game is sort of what I had in mind for "Power Pong",
a game I released way back, but I didn't really implement any,
so it remains an ordinary Pong game with pretty graphics.

    YouTube video of powerups:
    http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=IL-U4uWPdLs

    Screenshots:

    Barriers

    Bullets

    Multiball

Controls are simple.. just move left or right with the Dpad or analogue stick.
Fire with the Cross button if you have the right powerup.
Pause the game and see the score and current stage with the HOME button.

    Cheers, Art.

Sorry, I reuploaded a quick fix to some flickering in the title screen...
cheated and still calling it V1 since the game hasn't changed.

Thanks for the comment. I might update it yet. I still haven't finished the game,
though I know it's possible as I've finished every level at different times.

The Memory Sticks will come in handy... as long as ya haven't forgotten!

Do you not see three screens of the same game like I do?

    Looks like a Photobucket glitch.
I was actually seeing the correct pics.

I downloaded DX-Ball, and although it's a Windows version, it might have been the same
as the Amiga game. It does have the spinning Amiga ball logo on it's intro screen.

I'll have a V2 ready soon, with a few improvements.

I thought V1 was a little too easy, and I've changed the behaviour of the multiball so
you don't lose a life if you miss one of the two balls.
