Arrow [RELEASE] TweakDISPLAY v0.7.729 - Original Concept - Your PSP IS NEW AGAIN

From private beta to this public release just like I promised.. (All indivilizations and securities removed)
My thanks to 5(+1) of the preliminary testers.

What's this?

This is a plugin that works BOTH IN-GAME, in XMB as well as Homebrew, consists of a 20 most Creative, Incredible set of effects put together in a small package to create a truly unique PSP experience.
You'll start to Love your PSP as if it's new (willing to trust me?) !

This is what has been in developement for months (with several sparing minutes every alternate weekends)

Since the beginning the main priority has been to create a very heavily optimized and tweaked product that everyone would like. With performance being maxed out; infact most of the effects including Flipped XMB run at FULL 60 FPS and with memory footprint being virtually ZERO - you can't go wrong.

VIDEOS:

- PART I: A Quick Glimpse at some of the effects -
{
- PART II: The Lasting Touch -

CONTROLS:

TRIANGLE+VOL UP/DOWN - Change Effect
VOLUP + VOL DOWN = Toggle Effect
TRIANGLE + ANALOG UP/DOWN - Adjust Brightness

Requirements
:

CFW 5.00 M33-3
PSP 1000 / PSP 2000

The Scoop:

-> Contrast Boost that mimics PSP-3000's improved contrast via Software.
-> Brightness Boost with variable adjustment
-> Physically Flipped XMB with natural keymapping (PSP 1000 Feels lighter than it is, if held this way )
-> SUPER Stylish Music Visualizer (for Bars Visualization)
-> Warm Tones, Cool Tones, Red tones...
-> Colour Filters (5+)
-> Inverted Colors
-> Mirror effects (2)
-> Oil Paint effect
-> Everything else you could think of...

GAME Compatibility:

-> Shawn White Snowboarding
-> Midnight Club LA REMIX (Doesn't work)

Homebrew Compatibility (99% Compatible with ALL Homebrew):
Tested:
-> Geomety Wawz
-> PSPKVM / Opera Mini
-> Powernoid v2
-> Jelly Car v1.1

Future / Notes:

Be surprised when you see another update

-> Read the README's

Minor Update Bld 729:
-> Increased Main thead Poll delay from 10 to 5000. (Possible performance improvement)
-> Removed remaining references to security checks.

I paid, I saw, it kicked some a$$. I had no net the past few days. Just read all the other threads. Very surprised at how people are overreacting about all this. Seems no one would mind donating to Fanjita or DA, even if its not the same calibre of work it doesn't seem fair to sinlge out a person over 20 bucks. Either way, I love this creation by MR305, I may check out a_noobs...

no offense to a-noob, but this one just has some cooler effects. awsome stuff, mr305! btw, how much does the contrast change exactly? like, is it match the psp 3000, or is it worse?

Looks cool. For some reason it itsn't working, gonna try disabling all other plugins, and if it works by itself I'll tell you what plugin(s) are interfering.

EDIT: Hmm, sadly, this doesn't work with the HUD plugin enabled, or with the unicode version spoofer plugin. Hold+ and CXMB work perfectly though. It also seems to bug out sometimes when I turn on the flipped XMB effect and go into the music player. =[

The only one I really like is the 4bit color. It looks badass with my theme for some reason. Good job overall, I just wish the contrast was adjustable.

HUD and this conflict with each other.. Same with RemoteJoy(lite).

60Fps Flip XMB is still Experimental; I still have the 30fps rock-solid version but that would hurt the experience.

You should put it in there anyways. What would be good is like, a text file with a list of the effects [or just like, 1's and 0's] so everyone can disable whatever effects they never use. =]

FlipXMB 60 crashes my psp everytime. You should look into that.

Also im getting artifacts on my screen that are identical to the buffer overflows from my first VSHPong prx, I see you are using VSHBlit Nice choice, but very outdated.

When I tried VSHblit my PSP crashed every time I opened the video icon,
and the display was very flickery.

Anyway this plugin mustn't like 3.52 firmware.

I donot want to hear abt this again. Scenario: A Group of 6 premium elites contribute a good lot of prelim feedback before we see this considerably stable public rlz . They werent forced. They were INTRESTED and met eligibility requirements.

Hey, if they want to pay they can pay as much as they are willing to.

Beyond all that jazz, Great program and I can't wait for a stable Full Flip 60fps

I was messing around with my brothers, they had no idea what the heck I was doing XD

Also, this plugin does NOT WORK with NFS: Undercover

Thing is, you singled out people with money. Not just anyone can get the money to "donate" [IMO it's not donating if it's asked for] for a BETA product which will be free in the end. Also, I think it was a stupid thing to do to make that a requirement [unless you just wanted the money, which is what I think] since the people with the money aren't always the best testers. If you truly wanted testers for it you would have looked for intelligent people [and not people who "donate."]

i'm too lazy to get my psp right now, so i think i'll wait for it to be a bit more stable, or me to be a bit less lazy. ;D looking pretty nice though.

btw, i hope you meant we shouldnt be surprised when a new build comes out? meaning your working on something even more amazing. or not, idk.

@Mr305,

Ignore people with ignorance.
That's just advice people, not that I am targeting anyone.

Great plugin, although I won't be using it all the time, it's is something that brings a little life back on the original and custom XMBs!

Awesome!but I think the Contrast boost has a little bit anamorphic, could it just look like "warm effect", but not too much yellow.
And I think your could add a function that can adjut degree of each color by ourselves..That would be great!
Good job ! You prove yourself .

BTW, Could anybody just don't stick to that money affairs? we all know that's not for money indeed!

iirc, you can become a irshell betatester if you donate over $20. mr305 did the exact same thing.

ok this is easier to use than a_noob's version.
N+ works on this since it didn't on his version.
but some parts crash. Such as FlipXMB & One of the mirror effects.
well done for 3 months on and off work on the project

It's a good plugin.

What exactly is contrast boost supposed to do? It just makes my screen extremely white and in no way mimics the psp-3000.

And the only other problem I have with it is that it doesn't save the last effect that I had in use. I have to manually select it each time which is annoying. It would've been very simple to implement

The psp-3000 has saturation boost not contrast boost. So that effect is a misnomer. Also Omracer, how is this easier to use xD, mine is one button press.

Mr.305 just fyi, (hasnt happened to me on your prx) but the buffer overflows your plugin causes are very dangerous to the stability of the XMB and games. They can cause frequent crashes. Especially in games that use VRAM intensively for a texture cache.

its easier to use a_noob since i don't have to go into M33 recovery to change what effect i want. (i used each effect on its own not the one with L & R switching)
but yours a_noob is more reliable.

PSP 3000 has 5 times the contrast ratio AND improved color gamut; Check the press release Regarding crashes, FLIP XMB is still experimental, as shown on screen, something that still needs work
