Arrow [RELEASE][UPDATE] TweakDISPLAY v0.9.965 - Realtime Visual Effects Galore!

What's this?

This is a plugin that works BOTH IN-GAME, in XMB as well as Homebrew, consists of a 22 most Creative, Incredible set of effects put together in a small package to create a truly unique PSP experience.
You'll start to Love your PSP as if it's new

Since the beginning the main priority has been to create a very heavily optimized and tweaked product that everyone would like. With performance being maxed out; infact most of the effects including Flipped XMB run at FULL 60 FPS and with memory footprint being virtually ZERO - you can't go wrong.

Changelog:

-> NEW EFFECT: Grayscale
-> NEW EFFECT: Oil Paint, makes everything look very artistic.
-> MAJOR: Center Mirror Optimized to Full Speed (60 FPS XMB benchmark)
-> MAJOR: Contrast Boost algorithm Optimized Close to Full Speed.
-> Dramatic reduction in number of CPU instructions every loop
-> Flip Mode buttons applied in GAME mode also.
-> Misplaced Flipped Keymapping for the wrong effect; effect couldn't be changed at times. Fixed.
-> Can directly switch to Flipped XMB when TRIANGLE+VOLDOWN is pressed
on start.
benchmark)
-> Removed FPS display
-> Made Effect names more comprehensible.
-> Changed Brightness Boost Keycombo - TRIANGLE + SQUARE + Analog Up/Down

VIDEOS:

- PART I: A Quick Glimpse at some of the effects -
{
- PART II: The Lasting Touch -

CONTROLS:

TRIANGLE+VOL UP/DOWN - Change Effect
VOLUP + VOL DOWN = Toggle Effect
TRIANGLE + SQUARE + ANALOG UP/DOWN - Adjust Brightness

Requirements
:

CFW 5.00 M33-4 (Recommended)
PSP 1000 / PSP 2000

The Scoop:

-> Contrast Boost that mimics PSP-3000's improved contrast via Software.
-> Brightness Boost with variable adjustment
-> Grayscale colors
-> Physically Flipped XMB with natural keymapping (PSP 1000 Feels lighter than it is, if held this way )
-> SUPER Stylish Music Visualizer (for Bars Visualization)
-> Warm Tones, Cool Tones, Red tones...
-> Colour Filters (5+)
-> Inverted Colors
-> Oil Paint effects
-> Mirror effects (2)
-> A LOT MORE!

GAME Compatibility:

-> Shawn White Snowboarding
-> Midnight Club LA REMIX (Doesn't work)
-> Should work with most games...

Homebrew Compatibility (99% Compatible with ALL Homebrew):
Tested:
-> Geomety Wawz
-> PSPKVM / Opera Mini
-> Powernoid v2
-> Jelly Car

Happy Holidays!

Remote Play functionality breaks when using this. It won't let you get into the menu to configure the Connection Settings/Quit Remote Play/Change Layout.

nice to see you got this up and running! I remember talking to you about it when I brought it up in speculation.

I do have a couple suggestions though...maybe switch the control scheme around a little? perhaps hold L+R and use the analog to switch styles? the volume bar and triangle both have roles in the xmb, so it's sort of obtrusive. or perhaps use a config file on the memory stick to switch styles on/off manually, without control in game/xmb.

secondly, the psp3000 contrast boost comes off a bit strong. maybe tone it down a little, or make it adjustable?

otherwise, excellent plugin! I might actually update my firmware to use this more efficiently once you get a couple more releases out there. (that is, unless the 4.01 m33 support improves, hahah).

(also, perhaps a tweak display lite is in order, streamlined down to a stable of more practical filters. greyscale, contrast boost, brightness +/-, etc).

I will think of better controls that doesn't affect game play or XMB video/music/etc.

If I make the contrast boost adjustable, it will mean more calculations i.e. reduced FPS. However, Being able to adjust extra contrast is definately a good idea

well, maybe offer multiple contrast boost filters, like 10%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the current contrast boost.

Default Very nice! Congratulations!

But there is a bug with some effects (negative, for example) that cause glitch in sound. Pay attention in keytone after change.
And as you already know, VSH menu not work when this plugin are enable.

Fixing these bugs, don't need to add anything! Is really great!
Thanks!

I'm new here and I just joined today... Anyways

Is it possible to make an Anaglyph ( AKA 3D glasses Red/Blue ) effect for in game? I know the FPS would be low and its a complex effect, but it'd be so cool!
