ISO or not, it's more than likely to check that the exploit works on the korean version. If it works on the iso then it should work with the UMD for the korean users...

1. You didn't provide any information. What do you mean, "downgrade this?"

Which PSP version do you have - PSP-1000, PSP-2000, or PSP-3000? Which motherboard? What firmware is it running?

Most models of PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 can be downgraded - everything except for the PSP-2001's TA-088v3 motherboard.

PSP-3000 CAN NOT be downgraded at this time.

2. If a downgrader is some day discovered that utilizes the Sparta exploit, it will most definitely require the Gripshift UMD. So when that day comes, no, you will not be able to "downgrade this without Gripshift."

Egads. This reminds me of the old days of 2.xx firmwares.

Obviously PSP-3000. And I wasn't talking about using the umd. I remember the lumines hack to downgrade, however it wasn't needed afterwards.

By the way, I've downgraded countless psp and have two Pandoras. I am not a little clueless kid.

I would assume he means the HEN, not the exploit itself.

The releases discussing the HEN have all indicated that they are running with a European UMD of Gripshift.

It would appear that ATM the only HEN is on the Euro Gripshift, but that since the Sparta exploit works on a US UMD of the game, when the HEN is actually released it should be fairly simple to compile two copies, one for the US version, and one for the EU version.

Looks like the Sparta Exploit & SDK modified to work with the European version of the Gripshift UMD.
