Alright guys i made a big long thread for this, then i clicked submit and found out that i hadn't clicked keep me logged in, so i lost it all.
So here i go again for the SECOND time. On 2007-11-03, the Invader Zim game officially got it's first beta, with only two members in the team Bigbobrocks - who came up with the idea and level designs, and it's only coder/gfx creator LMTLMT. After that many new coders came into the game, a few left until a stable team was formed. On 2008-04-18 the Invader Zim game was officially called dead. I don't have many of the files left, but i still have the first level or though not the final version but close to it and the beta of the second level. I'd like to give it to you, to give you a chance to try it out But first naming everyone that worked so hard on this amazing game that never got to see the light of day. Coders: Osgeld (also let the team use his ftp, Cheesefactory.us) Googol PL3X (Eventually became team leader and the lead coder) TyPR124 lmtlmt Gfx: Mr_Nick666 (Who made the best gfx i have EVER seen, visit him at www.Theplayground-uk.com Level concepts, idea of the game: Bigbobrocks. Screenshot of menu. http://img299.imageshack.us/my.php?i...2mockupme1.gif [MAY TAKE AWHILE TO LOAD.. JUST WAIT 30 SECONDS AND IT SHOULD POP UP] Download: Megaupload - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=81FXXK86 Rapidshare - http://rapidshare.com/files/186421024/Invader_Zim.zip If you like the game or are interested in carrying it on then Email - Knoxville_Kingpin@yahoo.c om.au Extra: Having some problem using it compiled? Just the game: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VVB32XVM Please remember to download Lua player 0.16 (Cool mods) to play the game, here's a link: http://www.qj.net/Lua-Player-Mod-4-n...g/49/aid/92915 (Download the 1.50 version) Edit: Didn't know how to put this on qj psp homebrew games news, it's probably not good enough news anyhow but if it is i'd be very happy if someone would post this up Host on qj if you want then lol.. don't really care. This thing doesn't even start in 5.00 M33-6. Error 8002014C. Do these old foldername & foldername% layouts even work on firmware other than 1.5?
Never used luaplayer before, tried the other download under Extra and getting error 80020148.

Yeah you'll be needing the 1.50 kernal to play this (Was made when everyone was still using it, project started when the OE series was out)
Once you have the 1.50 Kernal download Lua Player 0.16 (By cool mods) and put "Lua Player" and "Lua Player%" into your game 150 folder. Then place "Invader zim 9.80, game engine, gp3x engine" into "Lua Player 0.16 - applications" If that's to tricky then just download the first link (The compiled version) and copy Lua Player and Lua Player% to game150 then open it on your psp and play ![]() Screenshot of opening menu. http://img299.imageshack.us/my.php?i...2mockupme1.gif |

That's a no go on my PSP with Time Machine since it's the Slim model, using a 16GB stick.
Could've been nice to try it. Invader Zim is classic

Great stuff. You can host it on qj
I don't mind .This wasn't actually the final version created before the game was dropped it's just the last one i have saved, the last version did have music and a second level where zim lands the ship then the beginning of the third level (That's in Game engine) But no one has it anymore ]= |

@ Digikid13 - You probably only have a fraction of the graphics that were produced for the game. Aside from the menus, etc. there are graphics for a walking stage and a landing stage. If you use MSN or GMail PM me your address and we'll sort something out. |
