Hello I'm starting some study in the perl language. and I know psp has ran linux before.. so is it possible for someone to compile a working perl Interpreter.

Of course it is possible. Just snag the source and port it

(you will also need to make sure you port all its dependencies too)

would it require linux for psp.. or u think theres a way to run without linux..

No and yes. The interpreter seems to be pretty cross platform.

Would I just complie perl with toolchain? i never did this.. before

i highly doubt it's that simple, even if it was, you wouldn't be taking any advantage of the psp

Well I'd like to know a way I could either run it with http://jacksonm80.googlepages.com/linuxonpsp.htm i couldnt get BUILDROOT to get included so no gcc which I was gonna try to complie perl.
unless someone knows any guides on linux for psp or a way to get perl.. i know its possible.. cuz its much like lua.

because it is like lua does not mean it is possible. That relation means nothing.I suggest since you seem to not quite understand how this all works that you should take the time to learn something else that is already ported to the psp.
